Looks like Michal Jordan will replace Bellemore on the blue line Monday night. Bellemore has played in 43 games for the ‘Canes this season picking up a goal and nine points with a plus rating and 27 penalty minutes. His fantasy value is very limited.

It was a productive night for the defenseman who was questionable to play as he was ill on Thursday night. Bellemore has six points in 33 games with a plus-three rating and 25 penalty minutes.

Brett Bellemore will tag in for John-Michael Liles against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night.

"When you've missed a lot of games and you come in and try to catch up and play and you're not quite ready to play, it shows," Coach Peters said. Bellemore has three points, 14 PIMs, 25 blocks, and 63 hits in 21 games so far this season, and will skate with Ron Hainsey on their second unit.

Brett Bellemore will draw back into the Hurriances lineup Monday against the Canadiens.

Bellemore has been a healthy scratch the last two games for the 'Canes but will be back on the blue line for Monday's game with John-Michael Liles out. Bellemore is more of a defensive, physical player than offensive threat and will therefore have little fantasy value. He has three assists in 16 games played this year.

Bellemore is over his lower-body injury as evidenced by the fact that the Hurricanes have activated him off of the injured reserve list. However, Bellemore is a depth defenseman for Carolina, so he's not going to play in every game.
