Zach Bogosian is hoping to get off to a better start this season.

He missed the first 17 games of the season due to injury and didn't find his rhythm until the second half when he posted 16 of his 24 points after the All-Star Game. Coach Dan Bylsma has liked what he has seen at training camp so far from the 26-year-old defenseman. "He's skating great," Bylsma said. "He's been a leader for us in the first three days of camp and how we want to play, the pace which we want to play and that's what we've seen so far. Even in morning skate he's excited about the opportunity to get on the ice and play a game here."

Mar 17 - 7:49 AM

Zach Bogosian has scored three goals in his last three games.

Normally that wouldn't be much of a news post, however the Buffalo defensemen had scored only one goal in his first 63 games prior to this hot streak. He also has five points over that span. We don't expect Bogosian to continue to produce at this rate but we do think you should take advantage of him while he is hot.
