Zach Bogosian has been red hot since he returned from injury five games ago.
In the five games since he rejoined the Jets' lineup Bogosian has scored three goals and registered five points. What is even more remarkable about Bogosian's scoring exploits is that he has had virtually no power-play ice time during that span. In other words, his points have been generated in five-on-five situations. Pretty impressive. Jan 17 - 2:35 PM

The Winnipeg Jets aren't scoring many goals so far, but they're doing a surprisingly good job of limiting opposing offenses, too.

"I think if you look at how we've finished, that our third periods have been good, well, we have played with confidence with a lead," Zach Bogosian said. "We've also shown we can keep pushing forward up by a goal or down by a goal. It's pretty easy to be aggressive when you're down a few goals, but keeping the pressure up when you're up a few goals, not letting your foot off the pedal, that's been big for us. I don't really sense a nervousness with us. We're comfortable in these tight games near the end."

Zach Bogosian had a tremendous game Thursday against the Coyotes.

The 24-year-old defenseman, who to many has been a disappointment, registered two assists and was plus three in a 6-2 win Thursday against Arizona. Bogosian has never realized his vast potential but games like Thursday's always remind us who he could be. Is it a mirage or is Bogosian ready to take a leap into fantasy relevance? Stay tuned.
