Winnipeg coach Claude Noel didn't sound confident Wednesday that Zach Bogosian (upper body) would be able to play in Thursday's regular-season finale against Montreal.
His status was still set at "day-to-day" but Noel said "I'm not sure he'll be in the game [tonight]. It's not quite THAT day. How do you like that?" Bogosian had been excelling down the final stretch while scoring two goals and adding five assists in his last four games. Apr 25 - 9:30 AM

Zach Bogosian's upper body injury might be a concussion.

Bogosian appeared to be the victim of a high hit by the Islanders' Kyle Okposo. Bogosian left that contest before attempting to return and eventually being shutdown. "We got a protocol to follow in his situation, so we’ll follow that road," Jets head coach Claude Noel said. Bogosian isn't traveling with the team, so he won't play on Monday and is extremely doubtful for Tuesday's contest.

Zach Bogosian suffered an upper-body injury Saturday against the Islanders.

Jets coach Claude Noel didn't provide much detail on his status, according to the Winnipeg Sun's Ken Wiebe. Bogosian had a goal and two penalty minutes in 18:32.
Apr 20 - 7:29 PM

The Jets will keep their defense pairings the same for Saturday afternoon's game against the Islanders after coach Claude Noel shuffled them Thursday night against Carolina.

Zach Bogoisian will play alongside Grant Clitsome and will have the unenviable task of lining up against the Islanders' top liine of John Tavares, Matt Moulson and Brad Boyes. Dustin Byfuglien will team up with Ron Hainsy, while Mark Stuart and Paul Postma wil form the third pairing. Adjust your roster accordingly.
Apr 20 - 10:21 AM

Zach Bogosian was the only Winnipeg player to beat Robin Lehner in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Senators.

Bogosian's goal was just his second of the season, but with 51 shots on goal it's clear he's generating offensive chances. Andrew Ladd and Ron Hainsey drew the assists on the Jets only marker of the game.
Mar 17 - 8:06 PM

Zach Bogosian wasn't bothered by the fact that he logged 25:38 minutes in his return from a wrist injury.

"They used me quite a bit with Toby going down there," said Bogosian, referring to Toby Enstrom, who was hurt early in Friday's contest. "I got into the game right away and I’m glad I got my first game out of the way. It feels good to be back out there." Feel free to put him in your lineup if you normally would.

Zach Bogosian made his season debut against the Penguins Friday night.

Bogosian missed the Jets' first dozen games recovering from wrist surgery but seems fine now. He took 26 shifts, had over 25 minutes of ice time and skated on the Jets' second power-play unit. He is safe to activate.
Feb 16 - 2:06 AM

Zach Bogosian (wrist) is almost certain to make his season debut Friday against the Penguins.

The Jets blueliner had wrist srugery in the offseason and hasn't played a game all year. "A game-time decision but it looks like he's ready to go," coach Claude Noel said. "He's ready to go. I'm not sure I would hold him out of there. He has good passion. He probably has over-passion tomorrow. He's that thoroughbred that wants to get going. I'd have to be holding him back a bit if he plays." Bogosian had 30 points in 65 games last year. Pick him up on the off chance he's still available in your league.

Zach Bogosian (wrist) isn't likely to return on Tuesday.

The good news is that Bogosian should be considered day-to-day at this point. He hasn't played yet this season.
Feb 11 - 4:35 PM

Zach Bogosian is about a week away from returning to action.

He practiced with his teammates Friday for the first time since he had off-season wrist surgery. When he returns Bogosian will likely need a few games to get up to speed. We would wait until we see some positive performances from the talented rearguard before activating him.

Zach Bogosian practiced on Thursday for the first time since offseason wrist surgery.

"It felt good to be out there with the guys," Bogosian said. "I guess the last team practice I had was last April." The rearguard says he's taking it "day by day" and that there's "no set date" for his return. Bogosian had 30 points in 35 games last season.
Feb 8 - 11:50 AM

Zach Bogosian (wrist) is considered to be close to rejoining his teammates for practice.

He has been skating on his own and recently began shooting again, as he progresses from off-season wrist surgery. "Without putting a time frame on that, he's close to joining the team and start skating with us, which will be good for us and him," coach Claude Noel said.

Jan 31 - 9:18 AM

Zach Bogosian returned to the ice on Monday for the first time since off-season wrist surgery.

He was never locked out since he was hurt before the work stoppage began, so he's glad to be able to skate alongside his teammates now. "It felt good today. I didn't really push it too much," he said. "It was more just getting my legs under me a little bit. It felt good to be out there to skate, even though I wasn't doing much competitive stuff." There still isn't an exact timetable for his return, but it could come sometime in February.
