Roman Josi posted his third straight two-point game during Sunday's 5-4 win to the Oilers.

He extended his point streak to five games in the effort, giving him two goals and eight points over that span. He also has points in nine of his last 10 games, with six goals and 14 points over that span. Suffice it to say, the man's on fire.

Roman Josi scored a pair of goals Saturday night as the Predators beat the Capitals 5-2.

Josi got the scoring started at 1:56 in the first with assists from Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen. The Predators already had the game-winning goal from Mike Fisher entering the third, but Josi gave them a little insurance at the 12:07 mark of that period. Josi is on a four-game streak in which he has scored at least one point. His previous three games resulted in four assists and no goals.

Josi, who now has nine goals and 29 points in 47 games this season, ignited a memorable comeback for the Predators. Down 3-0 late in the second, Josi scored twice to narrow the deficit to one, and his teammates did the rest as Nashville prevailed 5-3.

He had the secondary assist on goals by Calle Jarnkrok and Filip Forsberg (power play) in the match. This was Josi's second game back in the lineup after he returned to action on Saturday from an upper-body injury.

With Roman Josi returning to the lineup Saturday night against Detroit, it marked the first time in 22 games that he played in the same contest as fellow star P.K. Subban.

The last time the Preds' star blueliners skated in the same NHL game was December 15th. With both Subban and Josi healthy, the Preds should be much better in their own zone and Pekka Rinne will have a much easier time kicking out shots.

Josi left the game after playing just 5:52 in this one. With P.K. Subban already hurt, losing Josi for an extended period of time would be devastating for Nashville.

Roman Josi earned a pair of assists in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over Vancouver.

Josi set up Calle Jarnkrok's game-winning goal after he blocked a shot on the penalty kill and rushed the puck up the ice. He has 17 assists and 22 points in 41 games this season.
