Tyler Myers underwent surgery Monday to repair his lower-body injury and he is projected to need six-to-eight weeks of recovery time.

According to Jets coach Paul Maurice there has been "no progress" in Tyler Myers' recovery from a lower body injury.

Myers is "not getting stronger", which does not bode well for his season considering he's been out since Nov. 11th.

Tyler Myers, Mark Stuart and Alexander Burmistrov will each be scratched from Sunday's match with the Kings.

Myers has had another nice season so far, posting five points with 13 PIMs and 21 hits in 11 games, but he is out with a lower-body injury. Burmistrov has but a pair of points in his 15 games without much else to show for his efforts. He is suffering from an upper-body injury.

Tyler Myers (lower body) has been activated from injured reserve and he will return to the lineup on Tuesday.

He was paired with Toby Enstrom during the morning skate. Myers sat out four game because of a lower-body injury, but you can get him back in your lineup now if you normally would.

Myers hasn't played since October 28th, so at this point he can be activated whenever he's healthy anyways. Putting him on the IR list though gives the Jets an extra roster spot, which they've used to recall Nic Petan.

Myers has two goals with six PIMs, 11 hits and 18 blocks through his first eight games of the season. The Jets play four times next week starting on Tuesday, and it's possible he could miss at least one game. We'll keep you posted.

Tyler Myers was not out for the pre-game skate on Sunday against Buffalo, which all but means that he won't be playing. He's expected to be replaced by Paul Postma.

Myers has two goals with six PIMs, 11 hits and 18 blocks through his first eight games of the season. He doesn't appear to be injured so this is likely just a game off.

Tyler Myers scored his first goal of the season Wednesday night.

He got the Jets on the board late in the second period after Toronto took a 4-0 lead. Winnipeg ended up winning the game in overtime by a score of 5-4. Myers has one point in four games this campaign.

Tyler Myers has undergone knee surgery.

Once Myers has recovered from that procedure, he will have a second operation on his hip. As you might imagine, he's done for the season, but the good news is that he should be ready for the start of training camp. He had nine goals and 27 points in 73 contests this season.
