Colby Robak will report to AHL Norfolk.
Robak was placed on waivers Thursday and went unclaimed. He's only played in one game after Dec. 19. His demotion freed up a spot for Eric Brewer to come off the injured reserve list. Fri, Jan 30, 2015 02:15:00 PM

Colby Robak will be a healthy scratch again Sunday night when the Ducks take on the visiting Canucks in Anaheim.

Robak hasn't seen game action since December 19th and has no points to show for in 11 games played in the 2014-2015 season. It's looking less and less promising for him to crack the lineup in the future, barring an injury.

Colby Robak will be in the press box Monday when the Ducks take on the visiting Sharks.

The 24-year-old defenseman has played in 11 games for the Ducks this season without scoring a point. He doesn't offer much fantasy value with those kind of numbers and is justifiably a healthy scratch Monday.

Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau felt there were positives and negatives to Colby Robak's debut with Anaheim on Sunday.

Robak had a minus-one rating in 17:25 minutes of ice time. He was acquired from Florida in exchange for Jesse Blacker. "It's a tough situation when you don't know who you're playing with and you're playing your off-side a lot," Boudreau said. "And it's a new system. You just want to get out there and get the puck and not make mistakes. And I think he did an OK job at that."

The Anaheim Ducks have acquired Colby Robak from the Florida Panthers in exchange for Jesse Blacker and future considerations.

Robak has no points in seven games with Florida this season. The 24-year-old has 42 career NHL contests under his belt. He isn't expected to have any fantasy value in standard leagues this season.

Colby Roback will be scratched on defense for the Panthers once again Monday night.

Robak hasn't seen game action since November 24th and has only played in seven games on the year for the Panthers. He has yet to record a point from the blue line. Dylan Olsen will take his spot as he has over the past week.

Colby Robak got back into Florida's lineup on Monday night.

He was a healthy scratch for the team's last two games. Robak replaced Dylan Olsen, who went to the press box in his place, in the lineup in a 4-1 loss to Minnesota. He had a minus-1 rating and he saw just 9:47 of ice time, so he may not be back in the fold on Wednesday.

Colby Robak will be a healthy scratch Saturday night against Nashville; it will be his sixth straight game in the stands.

With just a half dozen games under his belt this season, and 41 in his career over the past four seasons, it doesn't seem as though the 24 year old has much of a place with the Panthers. But hey, at least his per diem gets a boost.

Colby Robak is a healthy scratch against San Jose on Thursday.

The 24-year-old has no points and two penalty minutes in six games this season.

Colby Robak will get a chance to play defense in the absence of Dmitry Kulikov.

He played as a forward in his previous two appearances of the season. "I hope [Robak] is as good as his forward debut," coach Gerard Gallant joked. "The kid played well in preseason and I'm looking forward to getting him in there." Robak will be paired with Brian Campbell.

Colby Robak watched Thursday's loss to Philadelphia from the press box as a healthy scratch.

He was taken out of the lineup because the Panthers got Aleksander Barkov back from a knee injury. Robak lined up as a forward in his first two appearances of the season.

Colby Robak didn't mind playing as a forward over the weekend, especially since it allowed him to play in his first game of the year.

"Things are going to happen. Guys are going to get hurt, guys are going to get sick. It's part of the game," said Robak, who played up front because of injuries. "You just go out there and do what you're told and just embrace it. I had a lot of fun out there. I probably haven't played forward since I was eight or nine — and I don't even know if I did it then. But I just went out there and worked, see what happens." The defenseman played on a line with call-ups Rocco Grimaldi and Vincent Trocheck during Saturday's 2-1 win over Philadelphia.

Colby Robak has been a healthy scratch for Florida's first seven games of the season.

"Colby's a good player," coach Gerard Gallant said. "He works hard, competes hard, is a solid kid. The way things are going right now, we're happy with the way our defense pairings are playing. When he gets his chance, he'll play. He's the seventh defenseman and understands that." Dylan Olsen and Aaron Ekblad have done good jobs of holding onto their spots in the lineup, which has made it difficult for Robak to squeeze into the rotation.
