If Erik Haula (lower-body injury) can't play Tuesday against the Avalanche, look for the Wild to call up Zac Dalpe to take his place.
Dalpe, who has missed 21 games due to a torn meniscus in his right knee, had just been cleared to play and was set to suit up for Iowa of the AHL on Sunday. Dalpe has no fantasy value, however. Sun, Dec 18, 2016 11:53:00 AM

The Minnesota Wild activated Zac Dalpe from I/R and have sent him down to AHL Iowa.

In 128 career NHL games, the 27-year-old has posted just 12 goals and 24 points. Which suggests he hasn't much fantasy value unfortunately.

Zac Dalpe might not end up getting sent to AHL Iowa despite being on waivers.

Wild coach Bruce Boudreau said the decision to waive Dalpe was to create roster flexibility. They might still send Dalpe to the minors, especially if they make a pickup elsewhere, but they're not committed to it yet. Minnesota has 24 players on their roster at the moment, so they need to send someone to the minors before Tuesday's deadline.

The MInnesota Wild have waived Zac Dalpe with the intent on sending him to AHL Iowa.

He'll have to pass through waivers first, but that should be expected. The 26-year-old has seen just 119 career games of action since being drafted in 2008. He has no fantasy impact, unfortunately.

Zac Dalpe, Christian Folin, and Jordan Schroeder.

Unfortunately there isn't a lick of fantasy value between these three, as they're each classic tweeners between Minnesota and AHL Iowa. Neither are likely to see any more time this postseason, save for another injury.

It'll be Zac Dalpe's job to anchor Minnesota's third line on Thursday night in Game 1 against Dallas.

Dalpe will be flanked by Chris Porter and David Jones. The 26-year-old Dalpe has just 119 games of NHL experience with four organizations, and none in the playoffs. But with Porter's ability to bang bodies, and Jones' ability to put the puck in the net, they could make some hay in the right matchup.

Zac Dalpe scored his first goal of the season during Saturday's 2-1 loss to Calgary.

Two games, one goal. Most would kill for a fraction of that kind of production. It was the 11th goal in his career across 119 games, so we wouldn't expect anything more.
