Zac Dalpe will skate on Vancouver's top line again Monday night.

He will stay with Henrik and Daniel Sedin after he scored in the team's 2-1 win over St. Louis on Friday. "It could be a short leash, but at the same time I am going to try and take advantage of it," Dalpe said. "I'm not going to change up my game and think I am a super-skilled guy now that I play with the Sedins. I am going to do what I do, shoot the puck, and hopefully play well with them." He has two goals and two assists in 29 games this season.

Zac Dalpe scored a goal in Vancouver's 2-1 win over St. Louis Friday evening.

Dalpe played on the first line with Daniel and Henrik Sedin and scored his second goal of the season. If Dalpe continues to play on the first unit he could be a nice fantasy option in deeper leagues. The Canucks will play again on Sunday so we will have to see if he stays with the Sedins. Mike Santorelli scored the other goal for the Canucks.

Zac Dalpe has completed a two-week conditioning stint.

Dalpe had three assists and a minus-six rating in six AHL games. He's also played in six contests with Vancouver this season, but he didn't record a point in those matches.

Zac Dalpe is heading to Vancouver along with Jeremy Walsh in the deal that sent Kellan Tochkin and a fourth-rounder to the Hurricanes.

Turning 24 in November, Dalpe has been a bit of a disappointment since being taken in the second round of the 2008 draft as he has just 41 games in the NHL and 10 points to show for it. It's not a bad gamble for the Canucks organization, but that doesn't mean fantasy owners need to put him on their radar anytime soon.

Zac Dalpe has inked a one-year, two-way deal with Carolina.

Dalpe can make $550,000 annually at the NHL level or $125,000 in the minors. No matter what happens though, he's guaranteed to earn at least $150,000. He had a goal and three points in 10 games with Carolina this season.

Zac Dalpe has been returned to the minors by the Carolina Hurricanes.

Dalpe has two assists in six games with Carolina this season. We wouldn't be surprised if he ends up working his way back onto the Hurricanes' roster before the 2013 campaign is over.

Zac Dalpe will skate on Carolina's second line Saturday against Florida.

Dalpe played well over 38 games with Charlotte of the AHL this season, registering 28 points and will get the chance to skate with Jordan Staal and Jeff Skinner. The 23-year-old has had two cups of coffee in the NHL but over 31 games has only seven points to his name. As we advised with respect to Zach Boychuk, take a wait and see approach before investing in Dalpe.

Zac Dalpe skated with Jordan Staal and Jeff Skinner on Wednesday.

The combination also played together during Tuesday's scrimmage. GM Jim Rutherford said Dalpe could be the running for a roster spot when he joined the team earlier this week. Coach Kirk Muller was quick to caution on Wednesday that any lines on display at camp are not "set in stone."

Zac Dalpe wasn't among Carolina's first group of call-ups, but he still could be a part of the Hurricanes' roster when the regular season begins Saturday.

"Dalpe's been one of the best players in Charlotte," GM Jim Rutherford said. "Who knows, by the end of the week he could be in the starting lineup for opening night." He had three points in 12 games with Carolina last season and has been productive for AHL Charlotte this campaign, while racking up 13 goals and 28 points in 38 contests.
