Tyler Ennis will be a healthy scratch in Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames.

It's the first time all season that he'll serve as a healthy scratch. Ennis has also scored just once in his last eight games. He's up to five goals and three assists in 29 games this season. Mike Reilly will also watch the game from the press box.

Dec 12 - 8:06 PM

Tyler Ennis got a goal in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings.

Ennis' fifth goal of the season gave the Wild a 2-1 lead late in the second period, but the Kings rallied in the third with four unanswered goals. He posted four shots in 13:12 of ice time and has eight points in 27 appearances. Ennis should not be on your fantasy radar.
Dec 6 - 10:50 AM

Tyler Ennis had a goal against his former Buffalo teammates on Wednesday night.

Ennis tied the game shortly after Jack Eichel gave the Sabres a 1-0 lead and ended his nine-game point slump in the process. He has four goals and six points in 21 games with Minnesota this year.
Nov 23 - 10:43 AM

Tyler Ennis scored twice but it wasn't enough as the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Minnesota Wild 5-4 in overtime on Saturday night.

Ennis' second goal of the game was reviewed but ultimately stood up as a good goal. He now has four points in four games to start the season. Ennis has three 20-goal seasons under his belt but is coming two consecutive injury-shortened seasons. If he can remain healthy, he could be a fantasy asset in deep leagues.
Oct 14 - 11:35 PM

Tyler Ennis believes he can be a 20-goal scorer again if he can stay healthy.

"Before my injuries, I was scoring 20 [goals] a year," Ennis said. "So my goal is to get back on that path. If I play a healthy season, there's no reason I can't do that again, especially on this team, especially with this lineup." That could prove to be difficult if he spends most of his time on the fourth line, which is where he is projected to start the season.
Sep 26 - 12:22 PM

Minnesota coach Bruce Boudreau feels Tyler Ennis could be a bounce-back candidate this season.

"If we can keep him healthy, I think he's going to have a rebound year like Eric Staal had," said Boudreau. "I'm very excited about having him. In our top-nine forwards, I think we're as strong as anybody in the league." Ennis has been limited to just 74 games over the last two years because of injuries. He is projected to line up on the third combination in 2017-18.
Jul 28 - 8:07 PM

Look for newly-acquired forwards Tyler Ennis and Marcus Foligno to upgrade Minnesota's third line.

The two former Sabres could flank Charlie Coyle on what would be a very effective third unit. Eric Staal, Zach Parise and Nino Niederreiter will likely line up as the top unit with Mikko Koivu, Mikael Granlund and Jason Zucker comprising the second line. If Ennis and Foligno are destined for third-line duty, look for them both to be 40-point players in 2017-18, which isn't too shabby for the 14 minutes of playing time they will likely get per night.
Jul 2 - 11:54 AM

The Minnesota Wild have acquired Tyler Ennis, Marcus Foligno, and a 2018 third-round pick from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Jason Pominville, Marco Scandella, and a 2018 fourth-round selection.

Ennis has had some decent offensive seasons, but he's struggled over the last two campaigns with a combined eight goals and 24 points in 74 contests. Perhaps the change of scenery will do him some good, but if it doesn't then he'll be overpriced for his $4.6 million annual cap hit. His contract will expire in the summer of 2019.

Jun 30 - 12:10 PM

Tyler Ennis scored a goal in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Ennis gave the Sabres a 2-0 lead at the 11:35 mark of the second period. This was his first goal in 23 games and just his fifth goal of the 2016-17 season. Ennis has always had plenty of skill, but injuries seem to have caught up with him. He's up to 13 points in 49 games this season. Rasmus Ristolainen also found the back of the net for the Sabres.
Apr 5 - 10:40 PM

Tyler Ennis is expected to skate on the top line again Monday night.

He was moved to a line with Ryan O'Reilly and Jack Eichel last Friday. Ennis wants to make the most of this opportunity. He doesn't have a point in his last 11 games.
Mar 20 - 10:07 AM

Tyler Ennis scored a goal in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Vancouver.

He opened the scoring in the first period with the lone assist going to Evan Rodrigues, who posted his first point of the season. Ennis has started to pick it up offensively with five points in seven games this month.
Feb 13 - 10:08 AM

Tyler Ennis scored only his third goal of the season in the Buffalo Sabres' 2-1 loss to the Devils in New Jersey Monday night.

Ennis' goal, at 8:39 of the second period, tied the game at 1-1. It's been a very tough season for Ennis, who has scored little and missed some time because of hernia surgery.
Feb 6 - 11:09 PM

Tyler Ennis skated on the fourth line during Wednesday's practice.

Matt Moulson moved up alongside Ryan O'Reilly and Kyle Okposo, while Ennis skated with Cal O'Reilly and William Carrier. Ennis has one goal in six games since his return from hernia surgery and he hasn't picked up a point in his last five outings.
Feb 2 - 8:18 AM

Tyler Ennis will play on Friday night against Detroit.

Ennis missed Tuesday's match against Toronto. He has two goals and three points in just 13 games this season while seeing just 13:40 of action per game.
