The Sabres made the call to send Sulzer down in order to activate Henrik Tallinder from injured reserve. Sulzer was waived and sent to the minors prior to the start of the season, so his demotion isn't surprising.

Don't be surprised if Andrew Sulzer draws into the Sabre lineup Saturday against the Blackhawks.

Bufflao is one of two NHL teams (New Jersey being the other) who have yet to win a game this season and the team's defense has been horrible. Coach Ron Rolston may insert Sulzer into the lineup to shake things up a bit. If he does, Mike Weber, who is minus eight so far this season, may be the odd man out.
