The Minnesota Wild have recalled Peter Olvecky from Houston of the AHL.

Olvecky had six goals and 23 points in 41 games with the Aeros and could make his NHL debut on Friday against the Oilers in Edmonton. Olvecky will see fourth line minutes. "... Olvecky is a big body, strong skater, can play center or wing. He's the guy we'll use in that role as a fourth-line center," assistant GM Tom Lynn said. Don't expect much if anything, fantasy-wise from Olvecky.
