Look for Marc-Andre Cliche to draw back in against Dallas Saturday night.

He was a healthy scratch against the Rangers Thursday to allow Avs' coach Patrick Roy to dress seven defensemen. Roy has indicated he may not dress that many rearguards against the Stars, so there is a good chance Cliche will get to dress.

Marc-Andre Cliche will be a healthy scratch Thursday against Florida.

Dennis Everberg is back up from the minors and he'll go right into the lineup. "We're going to have an extra forward and I think it's going to creat some competition," coach Patrick Roy said. "(Thursday night), it's going to be him, the next game it could be (Daniel) Briere, it could be (Max) Talbot, we'll make a decision. Let's see how our guys play (Thursday) and then we'll make decisions. I think it's healthy for our team in that it creates competition."

The Colorado Avalanche claimed Marc-Andre Cliche off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings.

Cliche is on a one-way contract, so the Avalanche would either need to keep him in the lower ranks of the team or hope that he clears waivers to get sent down to the AHL. Cliche has a single game of NHL experience to his name, playing one game for the Kings in 2009-10.
