David Schlemko has been playing on the second power play for the Sharks.
The defenseman will get more points this season than last year's 19 points if he remains on the pp. He signed with the Sharks in the off-season for four years and is playing on the third pairing with Brenden Dillon. "We want to be a pairing that can be relied on in all situations," Dillon said. "Whether it’s a (defensive) zone draw, and (offensive) draw, being able to chip in. Getting shots towards the net and having good sticks in the d-zone is going to be our big focus." Oct 17 - 9:34 AM

David Schlemko is projected to play alongside Brenden Dillon on the Sharks' third defense pairing.

San Jose wanted to add some more mobility than they had when Roman Polak played with Dillon. Dylan DeMelo may be in the mix too on the third pairing, where he could sub in for Dillon for some games over the course of the season.

Jul 1 - 1:06 PM

David Schlemko (upper body) returned to action Saturday.

Schlemko was a minus-two as he played just three seconds short of 20 minutes Saturday. He has six goals and 19 points but his minus-21 rating ruins his fantasy value for poolies who use that category.
