Kyle Clifford led the 2014 playoffs with 39 PIM, but Patrick Maroon was second with 38 despite playing 11 fewer games.

The Anaheim Ducks power forward also had 101 PIM during the regular season, certainly worth noting since he also scored 11 goals and 29 points in that 62-game span. He could be a nice lower-tier PIM option in that he's showing potential to produce decent points.

It was a shame as Maroon had scored his first career power play goal and also had chipped in with an assist in the 6-2 win. Consider him day-to-day for now. Maroon has seven goals and 19 points this season and is a marginal player at best in fantasy pools.

Patrick Maroon is now playing on the first line with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.

It's obviously a great spot for the former sixth round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers and he responded on Friday with a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Ottawa. He is going to have fantasy value if he remains with the $8 million men, so grab him now and hope he sticks as he also picks up penalty minutes.
