Matt Halischuk, Brendon Kichton, and Julian Melchiori will each be scratched against the Ducks on Tuesday.
Of the three only Halischuk has posted even a modicum of fantasy value with 38 hits in 30 games. We'd leave them on the wire, unfortunately. Apr 5 - 8:19 PM

Matt Halischuk has been called up by the Winnipeg Jets.

Halischuk was sent to the minors after successfully clearing waivers on Feb. 4. He's back with the Jets now because Bryan Little is done for the season with a compression fractured vertebrae. Halischuk has no points in 13 games with the Jets in 2015-16.
Feb 25 - 1:50 PM

Matt Halischuk has successfully cleared waivers.

Winnipeg is expected to demote Halischuk as a result. He has no points in 13 games with Winnipeg this season.
Feb 4 - 1:15 PM

Matt Halischuk will be placed on waivers with the intention of sending him to the minors.

The Jets need to make room to activate Adam Lowry and Matthieu Perreault.
Feb 2 - 1:46 PM

Matt Halischuk has been called up by Winnipeg.

He has generated four goals and eight points in 28 games with Manitoba this season, while posting zero points in seven appearances with the Jets.
Jan 13 - 1:34 PM

With Mark Scheifele being activated from IR, the Winnipeg Jets returned Matt Halischuk to AHL Manitoba on Sunday.

Halischuk has seen just seven games with the Jets this season, registering four PIMs, four blocks, and six hits. Unfortunately, that's not sufficient to remain up in the NHL.
Jan 3 - 2:46 PM

Matt Halischuk will make his season debut with the Jets on Friday night against the Rangers.

Halischuk has 33 goals and 72 points with 53 PIMs over 250 career NHL games since being drafted 117th overall in 2007. Not too shabby for the rugged winger who'll skate to the left of Andrew Copp and Joel Armia on the fourth line.

The Jets have re-signed Matt Halischuk to a one-year, two-way $1.5 million contract.

The 27-year-old winger is not much of an offensive force as he registered only eight points in 47 games. Halischuk is slotted as a third or fourth liner and has no fantasy value.

The Winnipeg Jets will not make any lineup changes for their Game 3 matchup with the Anaheim Ducks.

Head Coach Paul Maruice will try to win Game 3 of the Western Conference’s first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with the same lineup they used in Game 2. Therefore the following long list of players will all be healthy scratches for Game 3 Monday night: Ben Chiarot, Andrew Copp, Keaton Ellerby, T.J. Calliardi, Matt Halischuk, Jay Harrison, Connor Hellebuyck, Eric O’Dell, and Antony Peluso.

Matt Halischuk, Anthony Peluso, and Jay Harrison will each sit out on Tuesday night against the New York Rangers.

While none of these three players will likely produce much fantasy value through the rest of the season, they've each still had nice seasons for themselves. Halischuk has posted seven points and 55 hits over 46 games. Peluso has 86 PIMs and 96 hits in 48 games. And Harrison has posted 35 blocks and hits with 42 PIMs in just 20 games with the Jets.

Matt Halischuk may return from his undisclosed ailment during Winnipeg's road trip this week.

He joined the team for practice for Monday and appears to be close to returning. Halischuk hasn't been in the lineup since Jan. 29.

Matt Halischuk (undisclosed) is projected to return in early March.

He hasn't played since Jan. 29 because of an undisclosed injury. Just an FYI as Halischuk doesn't have any fantasy value.

Tough news for Winnipeg Jets winger Matt Halischuk: it appears that his injury is even worse than week-to-week, whatever exactly that entails. Call it "out indefinitely" to be safe.

With two goals and seven points in 38 games this season and 71 points in 241 career NHL contests, it's unlikely that Halischuk will be making a dent in any fantasy lineups any time soon. Still, with the Jets putting up some serious offense, there was the chance he could have gotten a nice bump if healthy.

Matt Halischuk has been placed on the injured reserve list with an undisclosed injury.

The move is presumably retroactive to Thursday, which means that whatever's bothering Halischuk will sideline him for at least three games. He has two goals and seven points in 38 contests in 2014-15. T.J. Galiardi, who was demoted earlier in the day, has been asked to turn around and rejoin the Jets.
