Peter Mannino was saddled with his first loss in his NHL career as the Hurricanes came-from-behind to defeat the Islanders 5-4 on Friday night.

Mannino stopped 32 of the 37 shots that he faced but it was not enough to earn him the victory. But with Rick DiPietro signed to such a long-termed deal, and a plethora of goalies available during this off-season, Mannino will be hard-pressed to find a starting NHL gig next season.
