Coach Bruce Boudreau didn't confirm that Stoner will be in the lineup for Game 7 on Wednesday, but he did say that the defenseman will be available. Still, we would expect Stoner to get back in and Shea Theodore to be scratched.

Clayton Stoner got off injured reserve and back in the lineup on Wednesday.

He logged 14:27 of ice time in his first game back since Jan. 15 because of a hip flexor injury. Stoner had a game-high six hits and one block in his return.
Mar 3 - 3:24 AM

Clayton Stoner (hip flexor) is getting close to returning to the lineup.

Stoner has not played in a month and had been having hip flexor problems all season so the shutdown was needed. "I just wasn’t getting better," Stoner said. "I was telling the other guys here that it’s not like a shoulder separation where you have a specific protocol to get your shoulder better. Six to eight weeks. It’s more like trying to figure out what can prevent this. I’m trying to strengthen certain muscles in my groin and hip and trying to get stronger in certain areas to take the load off." He has little fantasy value with a goal and five points.
