Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau expects to have Clayton Stoner back in the lineup Tuesday after he missed Wednesday's game with a lower body injury.

Stoner suffered the injury on Saturday against the Kings and was a late scratch on Wednesday. Stoner has played 40 games this season and the defensive defenseman has only two assists with 37 penalty minutes so his fantasy value is zero in traditional pools.
Jan 24 - 5:45 AM

The Anaheim Ducks have been pleased with the play of stay at home defenseman Clayton Stoner.

The off-season signing of the blueliner raised a few eyebrows as Stoner inked a four-year/$13 million deal but not with Bruce Boudreau and the Ducks. "I think he’s done really good," Boudreau said. "We didn’t expect him to put up Sami Vatanen point numbers. But that’s fine. He has fought the tough guys. He plays a solid game. We use him in every situation except power play. He’s been a great teammate. And when he’s on his game, which has been most of the time, he’s a really good puck mover. I’m surprised that he doesn’t have any more points than he does." Stoner has had as many bouts this season with the mumps as assists (1) so his fantasy value is zero but that's not why the Ducks got him.
