Clayton Stoner is still healing from his lower body injury, and will not play in Sunday's match against the Kings.

Quite the turnaround for the veteran defender, who was waived earlier this season. Stoner has three points, 17 blocks, 28 PIMs and 35 hits in 14 games so far this season.

Clayton Stoner (lower body injury) did not practice Saturday and is doubtful Sunday.

The Ducks play their cross-town rivals the Kings and it looks like Stoner will miss his second straight game. The blueliner has three points in 17 games with 28 penalty minutes, 35 hits and 17 blocked shots. Consider him day-to-day.

Clayton Stoner has been sidelined with a lower body injury.

Through 14 games the veteran defender has three points with 17 blocks, 28 PIMs, and 35 hits. Nice rates if you're in a league that rewards his talents. He's considered day-to-day.
Nov 17 - 9:34 PM

Clayton Stoner had an assist in a 2-1 overtime loss to San Jose on Tuesday.

Stoner also received a five-minute major for fighting Micheal Haley. Stoner now has two points and five penalty minutes in five games this season.
Oct 26 - 10:09 AM

Clayton Stoner played Sunday after being a healthy scratch in their first two games.

Stoner played 16:35 and had a couple of hits. He passed through waivers on October 6 and there is the possibility that he could be sent to the minors if the Ducks return to health on the blueline and sign restricted free agent Hampus Lindholm. Stoner has no fantasy value at this time.
Oct 17 - 6:42 AM

Clayton Stoner and Emerson Etem will be scratched against the Penguins on Saturday night.

Don't be surprised if the Ducks keep Stoner's playing time to a minimum after putting him through waivers. Etem meanwhile is back where his career began, but hasn't proven to be much of a fantasy asset yet.

Clayton Stoner, Korbinian Holzer, Joseph Cramarossa will be scratched against the Stars in Thursday's opener.

In 50 games last season Stoner posted 67 PIMs and 123 blocks, not bad if you're in a reverse league. Of the three, he's the only one that boasts any potential fantasy value which says a lot.
Oct 13 - 7:40 PM

Clayton Stoner went unclaimed on waivers.

That's not too surprising given that he still has two seasons left on his two-year, $13 million contract. Anaheim hasn't sent him to the minors yet, but now the Ducks have the luxury of doing so.
Oct 7 - 2:39 PM

Clayton Stoner has been placed on waivers by the Anaheim Ducks.

Stoner had six points and 67 penalty minutes in 50 games with the Anaheim Ducks this season. He still has two seasons left on his four-year, $13 million contract.
Oct 6 - 12:42 PM

Although Clayton Stoner (upper body) is healthy enough to play, he might not on Wednesday.

Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau is still weighing his options. Stoner hasn't participated in a contest since April 10.
Apr 27 - 4:26 PM

Clayton Stoner is ready to return from an upper-body injury.

Coach Bruce Boudreau didn't confirm that Stoner will be in the lineup for Game 7 on Wednesday, but he did say that the defenseman will be available. Still, we would expect Stoner to get back in and Shea Theodore to be scratched.
Apr 26 - 5:03 PM

Clayton Stoner (upper body) might be an option for Game 7 on Wednesday.

As previously mentioned, Stoner did participate in Monday's practice. If Stoner does play, he might replace Shea Theodore, who logged just 11:43 minutes of ice time in Game 6.
Apr 26 - 4:28 AM

Clayon Stoner (upper body) took part in the morning skate on Monday.

He hasn't played since he was injured in the regular-season finale. Shea Theodore will probably stay in the lineup, but Stoner appears to be getting close to a return.
Apr 25 - 4:34 PM

Clayton Stoner will be a healthy scratch in Game 4 against Nashville.

Stoner also sat out the first three games of the series. The 31-year-old averaged 15:21 of ice time in 2015-16. Korbinian Holzer, Mike Santorelli, and Chris Wagner will also serve as healthy scratches in this one. The Ducks trail the series 2-1.
