The Toronto Maple Leafs placed enforcer Frazer McLaren on the injured reserve on Sunday.

It's unclear how much worse his fractured pinky finger is, as he was previously listed as day-to-day. One shouldn't forget that this team is under a tight cap crunch, so that might have added a little motivation to place him on the IR.
