Morin passed out on Wednesday while the Stars were trying to board a plane. Everything checked out okay at the hospital so Morin was cleared to play. He was held off the scoreboard in 9:40 minutes of action.

Morin was taken to the hospital and then released but will not play tonight. He may practice with the Stars' Texas farm team and may meet up with the team on Friday in Philadelphia. "We know he tested out fine today, so we'll see what happens tomorrow," Stars coach Marc Crawford said. "We're fine right now, and we'll see if we if he can join us after that."

Travis Morin scored the game-winning goal for the Texas Stars on Saturday night to give his club a 2-0 lead in the Calder Cup Finals over the Hershey Bears.

He potted the winner with 45 seconds remaining in a 3-3 third-period tie. Goaltender Matt Climie made 25 saves in the victory, while Garrett Stafford, Aaron Gagnon and Mathieu Beaudoin scored the other goals in the game for Texas.
