Dwight King tipped home the eventual winner in Thursday's 2-1 win over Edmonton.

King also tallied an assist, giving him six goals and 11 points on the year. Plus one of his very own game-winners. Not too shabby at all.

Dwight King picked a goal and an assist in 4-3 OT loss to Colorado on Wednesday.

The goal snapped a six games goalless drought for King. He has four goals and six points in 14 games during this injury riddled season so far. Trevor Lewis and Drew Doughty scored the other goals for the Kings in a losing cause.

King participated in his first game of the season on Tuesday. He hit the ground running with a goal and an assist in Los Angeles' 5-2 victory over Edmonton.

Dwight King (foot) has started skating on his own.

King hasn't played yet this season because of a broken bone in his foot, but getting back on the ice is an encouraging sign. It's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup, though.

Dwight King (foot) isn't expected to resume skating for another two weeks.

This comes after a previous report that King is a couple weeks away from returning in general. This might not be an indication that he'll take longer than previously projected to return though as he might be available to return to the lineup shortly after his foot is good enough to skate on.

Dwight King is still a couple of weeks away from returning to action from a broken bone in his foot.

King suffered the broken bone just before the start of the regular season and has not been on the ice as of yet. King is expected to see doctors this week and then it's likely he will be back on the ice. GM Dean Lombardi stated that King is likely two to two-and-a-half weeks away from returning to the lineup. He had 13 goals and 26 points in 81 games last season and the Kings could use his secondary scoring in their lineup.

He sustained a broken bone in his foot October 3rd and there's been no change from his initial eight-to-10 week recovery time.

Dwight King, who was hurt during the preseason, broke a bone in his foot.

He had surgery to repair the damage and was expected to be sidelined for eight-to-10 weeks. That could place him back in the lineup in late November or early December depending on when he had the procedure.

He was hurt last Saturday in preseason action when he blocked a shot. Coach Darryl Sutter said that King would be sidelined for "an extended period of time," but there's no set timetable for his return.

Dwight King was able to tally his 13th goal of the season Monday night versus the Vancouver Canucks.

It was the only goal for the Kings as they dropped a tough one to the Canucks, 2-1 in a shootout. Eddie Lack stood on his head for the entire game as the Kings peppered him with 37 shots in total and couldn't score on any of their three shootout attempts. Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli were given assists on the King goal.

Dwight King picked up a goal for the Kings in their 4-1 loss to the Wild on Saturday night.

King was the only one who was able to beat Devan Dubnyk, scoring 3:20 into the second period on a wrist shot. He has 11 goals and 23 points this season. Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli recorded the helpers.

Dwight King practiced on a line with Marian Gaborik and Anze Kopitar on Monday.

King was taking the spot most recently held by Trevor Lewis. Although this arrangement is likely temporary, it could still provide King with a short-term boost in production. King has 21 points in 64 games in 2014-15 and last recorded a point on Feb. 18.
