Dwight King was able to tally his 13th goal of the season Monday night versus the Vancouver Canucks.
It was the only goal for the Kings as they dropped a tough one to the Canucks, 2-1 in a shootout. Eddie Lack stood on his head for the entire game as the Kings peppered him with 37 shots in total and couldn't score on any of their three shootout attempts. Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli were given assists on the King goal. Apr 7 - 1:20 AM

Dwight King picked up a goal for the Kings in their 4-1 loss to the Wild on Saturday night.

King was the only one who was able to beat Devan Dubnyk, scoring 3:20 into the second period on a wrist shot. He has 11 goals and 23 points this season. Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli recorded the helpers.
Mar 28 - 10:56 PM

Dwight King practiced on a line with Marian Gaborik and Anze Kopitar on Monday.

King was taking the spot most recently held by Trevor Lewis. Although this arrangement is likely temporary, it could still provide King with a short-term boost in production. King has 21 points in 64 games in 2014-15 and last recorded a point on Feb. 18.
Mar 10 - 11:11 AM

Dwight King extended his point streak to five games on Wednesday.

King had an assist in a 4-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche. He has 10 goals and 21 points in 56 contests in 2014-15.
Feb 19 - 10:26 AM

Dwight King extended his personal best point streak to four games with two assists in Monday's 3-2 win over Tampa Bay.

King now has three goals and seven points during his streak, raising his season totals to 10 goals and 20 points through 55 games this season. Perhaps ironically, neither of Kings' assists were all that spectacular. He carried the pill into the offensive zone before dropping to Jordan Nolan, who did the rest, making it 2-1 Kings in the third. And merely touched the puck during the rush that led to Jeff Carter making it 3-1 just 10 minutes later. That's all it takes to get an assist in the NHL, sometimes.
Feb 17 - 4:10 AM

Dwight King scored for the Kings in their 3-1 win over the Capitals on Saturday night.

King also fired seven shots on goal and recorded three hits. He has goals in three consecutive games now, improving his total to 10 goals and 18 points on the year. Jarrett Stoll and Trevor Lewis also scored. All three players have seen their roles expand a bit lately from strictly bottom-line forwards, though their offensive upside remains limited. Stoll also had six shots on net.
Feb 15 - 12:58 AM

Dwight King has taken over the injured Tanner Pearson's spot on the Kings second line.

King is playing alongside Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli and has two goals and four points in his last two games. King has only nine goals and 17 points in 53 games this season so chances are he is under the radar in your fantasy pool.
Feb 14 - 9:03 AM

Dwight King had a goal and an assist in the Kings' 5-3 win over the Flames on Thursday night.

King's goal was mighty pretty as he worked to get himself open to receive Jeff Carter's feed, and wasted no time putting it through Jonas Hiller's five-hole. The goal made it 3-2 Kings in a string of four unanswered tallies. He now has nine goals and 17 points through 53 games this season.
Feb 13 - 3:23 AM

Dwight King had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win against Columbus Monday night.

It was the first time King found the back of the net since Jan. 3. He has eight goals and 15 points in 52 contests this season.
Feb 10 - 11:09 AM

Dwight King scored twice in the Kings 7-6 overtime loss to Nashville Saturday.

That gives King three goals in his last two games and seven on the season. He has 12 points in 39 games but that is not fantasy worthy in one-year or keeper pools.

Dwight King scored a goal in Los Angeles' 3-2 win against Vancouver.

King ended a five-game point drought. He has five goals and 10 points in 38 contests in 2014-15.
Jan 2 - 9:17 AM

Dwight King started LA's late 3-2 comeback win over the Canucks Thursday night with his fifth goal of the season.

With just over five minutes to go in the second period and down 2-0, King scooped in his own rebound past a sprawling Ryan Miller to cut the deficit in half. And with that, the Kings' comeback modus operandi was set into motion. Dwight King now has five goals and ten points on the season.
Jan 2 - 1:28 AM

Dwight King scored a goal in a 6-4 victory against St. Louis on Thursday.

King has four goals and nine points in 32 games in 2014-15. He'll continue to provide Los Angeles with some secondary scoring, but he doesn't have enough offensive upside to warrant picking him up in standard leagues.

Dwight King found the back of the net in the Kings' 4-3 shootout loss to Toronto on Sunday.

It was King's first goal since Nov. 6. "It's been awhile," King said. "I just tried to take it to the net, wasn't too much time left in the period. A little fortunate with the bounce off the goalie. But I'll take it." He has three goals and eight points in 30 games this season.
Mon, Dec 15, 2014 10:49:00 AM

Dwight King scored his second goal of the season Thursday night.

King tipped-in Mike Richards' shot from the half-wall and it trickled by the Islanders' Chad Johnson early on in the first. The Kings would go on to lose in the shootout 2-1. Statistically speaking, he didn't contribute much else. Just two other shots and a hit across his 12:41 of ice time, including just under three minutes on special teams.
