Mike Santorelli (arm) sat out his fourth consecutive game Sunday.

Santorelli was injured after being hit by Martin Hanzal. He has 10 goals and 29 points in 49 games this season and his plus-nine rating gives him some fantasy value this season. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Canucks forward Mike Santorelli will likely miss tonight's game against the Calgary Flames because of an arm injury.

Santorelli left in the third period of a 1-0 loss to the Coyotes Thursday after being hit by Phoenix forward Martin Hanzal. Santorelli was seen leaving the building with his right arm in a sling. Canucks captain Henrik Sedin was believed to be nursing some sore ribs after a Hanzal cross check. Hanzal completed his hat trick late in the third with a high stick to the face of David Booth, for which he received a double-minor. Vancouver coach John Tortorella would not comment on Santorelli’s injury.
Jan 18 - 11:44 AM

Mike Santorelli scored his ninth goal of the season late in the third period to cement a 2-0 shutout for the Vancouver Canucks against the Flames in Calgary Sunday night.

Jannik Hansen also scored for the Canucks, his seventh of the season.

Mike Santorelli had an assist in Vancouver's 4-1 loss on Thursday.

That extended Santorelli's point streak to four games. After two disappointing campaigns, he's bounced back with six goals and 26 points in 37 games this season.

Mike Santorelli had a couple of helpers on Saturday.

Santorelli is having a surprisingly good fantasy season with eight goals and 24 points in 35 games with a plus-13 rating. He is tied for 57th in points and is 16th in plus/minus so he should be on someone's roster in all but the shallowest of leagues.

Forward Mike Santorelli had points in all three Vancouver goals Sunday night to lead the Canucks to a 3-1 triumph over the visiting Colorado Avalanche.

Santorelli scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season and contributed his 13th assist of the season on Ryan Kesler's goal. It was Kesler's 15th goal of the season.

Vancouver coach John Tortorella switched up his lines on Sunday and Mike Santorelli found himself on the first unit.

Santorelli moved up to the first line in the third period alongside Daniel Sedin and Ryan Kesler while Henrik Sedin dropped down to the second line with Alex Burrows and Christopher Higgins. The move did not help as the Canucks dropped a 3-1 decision to the Ducks. Santorelli has five goals and 12 points in 20 games but has only one goal in his last 15.

Mike Santorelli scored a goal for the Canucks as they were defeated by the Sharks 4-1 Thursday night.

Santorelli has now scored four goals in five games and he is the leading scorer for the Canucks. He has only nine shots on goal so he has an impressive 44.4 shooting percentage. Defensemen Christopher Tanev and Ryan Stanton assisted on the lone goal for the Canucks.

Center Mike Santorelli scored twice, including the overtime winner, to lift the Vancouver Canucks to a 5-4 triumph over the Flames in Calgary on Sunday night.

The game was Calgary’s first at home since floodwaters ravaged Southern Alberta in June and breached the doors of the Saddledome as part of one of the worst natural disasters in Canadian history. Everything at the event level was a loss as 30 million gallons of water rose to submerge everything under the first eight rows of the rink. After Calgary's David Jones tied the game 4-4 with just 19 seconds remaining in regulation, Santorelli took a feed from Kevin Bieksa and beat Flames goalie Joey MacDonald at 3:27 of overtime to give Vancouver the win in goaltender Eddie Lack’s NHL debut. The Canucks battled back, scoring three unanswered goals to take a third period lead before Jones forced overtime. For Santorelli, the goals were his first two of the season. Others scoring for the winners were Jannik Hansen (second), Dale Weise (first) and David Booth (first).

It appears that Mike Santorelli will start the season as the Canucks third line center.

Santorelli had a great training camp but he may end up elsewhere on the bottom-six as coach John Tortorella may switch things up and put a winger at center. Santorelli had only two goals and four points in 34 games with Florida and Vancouver last season so his fantasy value is negligible.

Mike Santorelli has agreed to terms with the Vancouver Canucks.

Santorelli had two goals and four points in 34 games with the Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks in 2013. He broke out in 2010-11 with 41 points in 82 contests, but hasn't been able to come even close to replicating that success.

Mike Santorelli scored again in Tuesday's shootout.

He is 10 for 19 in his career during the NHL's breakaway competition, which gives him some value to the Winnipeg Jets down the stretch. "I'm glad it went in," Santorelli said. "I'll help any way I can. I just kind of read off the goalie. I've got a couple of moves. I just go in thinking of one and take whatever. Today my was first one but I was a little bit nervous. I'm glad we got the extra point." The Jets are tied with the New York Rangers for the final playoff spot so any extra points they can muster in shootouts could be the difference down the stretch. Santorelli has one regulation time point, an assist, in five games with Winnipeg since being claimed off waivers from Florida.
