Jason Demers (lower body) practiced Monday and says he's ready to return to the lineup if needed.

Demers hasn't played since April 18 with what's believed to be an ankle injury. While there was some doubt as to whether he'd be ready for the second round, it appears the long layoff after sweeping Vancouver gave Demers enough time to heal. We likely won't get a hint at San Jose's lineup until Tuesday's morning skate.
