Feb 7 - 7:09 PM

The Buffalo Sabres have signed Justin Falk to a one-year extension worth $650,000.

The defenseman has only four assists in 35 games with the Sabres this season and was pointless in 10 games with Rochester of the AHL. He had nine points with Minnesota in 2011-12 and that was his best fantasy season so don't think about drafting him ever.
Feb 6 - 9:48 AM

Justin Falk will tag in for Josh Gorges against the Jets on Saturday afternoon.

Falk has posted one point and 38 hits in 22 games so far this season. While Gorges has 25 PIMs, 62 blocks and 77 hits in 34 games thus far.
Jan 7 - 12:26 PM

Justin Falk has been called up by the Buffalo Sabres.

Falk had been sent down to the minors on Sunday. He has no points in two games with the Sabres this season.

The Buffalo Sabres have returned Justin Falk to AHL Rochester.

The 28-year-old Falk has managed just two games with the Sabers so far, and with nary an indent on the stat sheet. We wouldn't expect much of the veteran tweener.

Justin Falk made his Sabres debut in Friday night's 2-1 OT loss to the Devils.

Buffalo signed Falk to a one-year, two-way deal over the summer. He started the year in the minors, but finally got a crack with the big club. Falk finished the game with a minus-1 rating, one shot on goal and one hit in 12:24 of ice time. There's no fantasy value here.
