The Buffalo Sabres has elected to scratch Justin Falk.

Nathan Beaulier will draw back into the lineup for Justin Falk who will join Victor Antipin as a healthy scratch. Kyle Okposo (concussion), Kyle Criscuolo (upper body), Evan Rodrigues (upper body), Jack Eichel (high-ankle sprain), Jake McCabe (shoulder) and Zach Bogosian (hip) will all miss today's game.

Falk apparently called Kane selfish at one point during a physical practice in what has been a dismal season for the Sabres. "Just spur of the moment. Emotions running high. This time of year, where we're at," Falk said. "Personally everyone's got a different situation they're in. Just in the heat of the moment it boiled over." He has been a healthy scratch three of the last four games.

Coach Bylsma said on Thursday "there's a possibility of maybe one of those guys," Taylor Fedun or Falk "coming back to practice by tomorrow or Saturday and we'll see for the weekend." The Sabres defense could be getting healthier.
