Matt Beleskey scored his 18th of the year in the Ducks' 4-0 win over Vancouver on Tuesday.

Beleskey opened the scoring on a slap shot that somehow got past the glove of Ryan Miller. The goal turned out to be all the Ducks needed against a punch-less Vancouver team. Four different Ducks recorded goals as Kyle Palmieri, Patrick Maroon and Rickard Rickell all got on the score sheet. The Ducks have won six in row.

Matt Beleskey had an eventful night with an assist and fight in his return to the lineup on Friday night.

After Coach Boudreau sat him for a game, Beleskey got the primary assist on Hampus Lindholm's goal in the second period, which proved to be the eventual game-winner. He would later answer Tim Sestito's bell call in the third. Beleskey now has 17 goals and 23 points with 29 PIMs on the season.

Beleskey was made a healthy scratch on Wednesday night despite being the second leading scorer on the team with 17 goals, and is shooting at an astounding 16.7%. In addition he's fourth on the team in hits with 97, but Coach Boudreau must be looking for more from the 26 year old. Here's a good opportunity for him to deliver.

Beleskey has blossomed into a first-rate offensive performer. He has 16 goals and 20 assists. His goal Friday, at 10:55 of the third period, broke a 3-3 tie. Ryan Getzlaf, Anaheim's captain, opened the scoring in the first period with his 13th goal of the season. Also scoring for the Ducks were Andrew Cogliano (fifth) and Kyle Palmieri (sixth). Sami Vatanen contributed two assists for the winners and how has 17 on the season.

Matt Beleskey scored his 15th goal of the season in the third period of Thursday night's affair with Montreal to give the Ducks a 2-1 road win.

Beleskey is now tied for seventh in goals in the NHL with Evgeni Malkin, Patrick Kane and Joe Pavelski. The 26-year-old veteran only has three assists though, but is definitely an asset with his goal total. He now has 50 goals in his NHL career.

The goal was Beleskey's 12th of the season, which is a new career-high for him. Beleskey beat Rask with a shot right off the face-off to give Anaheim a 3-1 lead in the game. The 26-year-old has been quite a surprise this season. He is currently on pace to score 38 goals, but he isn't likely to reach that number. Sami Vatanen and Devante Smith-Pelly also scored for the Ducks.

When you're hot, you're hot as Beleskey got a little puck luck on both points he notched in this game. The 26 year-old has three goals in four games and is showing some goal scoring prowess this season. Considering he scored just nine goals in 55 games last season, he is off to a red hot start. Corey Perry and Kyle Palmieri each added a goal in the win.

It was the second straight game where Beleskey found the back of the net. It's been an unusual season for him because he has seven goals and no assists in 15 contests. That's quite a deviation from the norm for a player that's never scored more than 11 goals in a single season. Don't count on Beleskey to even come close to maintaining his current goal scoring pace for the entire season.

Matt Beleskey scored his sixth goal of the season on the power-play in a 3-2 overtime loss to Anaheim on Tuesday.

Beleskey got the Ducks rally started with a power-play goal set up nicely by Ryan Kesler and Sami Vatanen in the second period. The big winger also had five shots and stepped up his play with the absence of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. Emerson Etem scored the other goal for the Ducks in the loss. Beleskey has six goals on the season but still no assists.
