Dmitry Kulikov scored his first goal of the season Thursday.

His marker ended a 40-game drought dating back to last March and it held up as the game winner in a 5-1 victory versus New Jersey. Kulikov has provided five points in 24 contests.

Dmitry Kulikov returned to the lineup on Friday and didn't show any ill effects after missing eight games with a knee injury.

He played 20:39, including 52 seconds on the second power-play unit, took two shots on goal and was minus one for the night. Kulikov seems safe to activate

Dmitry Kulikov has been activated from IR by the Florida Panthers.

Through 17 games thus far, Kulikov has posted three points, four PIMs, 21 hits, and 27 hits. Which unfortunately doesn't amount to much of a fantasy asset. Dylan Olsen has been returned to the AHL to make room on the roster.

Dmitry Kulikov (knee) is doubtful for Thursday.

It's likely that he will be back in the lineup on Friday against Columbus, though. Kulikov has three assists in 17 games this season and his return probably won't impact your fantasy roster unless you need his real-time stats.

Dmitry Kulikov (knee) will likely play during the Panthers' back-to-back set this week, according to coach Gerard Gallant.

That will put him in the lineup on Thursday or Friday or perhaps both contests. Either way, Kulikov is close to returning to the lineup. He hasn't played since Nov. 14.

Dmitry Kulikov (knee) skated Wednesday for the first time since he was injured on Nov. 14.

Coach Gerard Gallant said Kulikov won't play this weekend, but he added that the defenseman isn't far away from being available to rejoin his teammates.

Dmitry Kulikov (knee) will not need surgery.

That's the good news, but Kulikov will still miss the next two-to-four weeks. He suffered the injury during Saturday's contest. He has three assists in 17 games this season.

Dmitry Kulikov's MRI on his leg/knee didn't reveal any serious damage.

That means this probably won't be a long-term injury. He isn't expected to play this week.

Dmitry Kulikov sustained a leg injury Saturday that is expected to sideline him for at least a week.

He has three assists in 17 games this season, but the 24-year-old has been a good real-time stat contributor with 27 hits and 21 blocks.

Dmitry Kulikov won't play in the Battle of the Sunshine State on Monday.

Kulikov is getting an MRI for the lower body injury he suffered after a hit from JT Brown on Saturday, and "will probably miss at least a few games" according to Coach Gallant. Kulikov has posted just three points, 21 blocks, and 24 hits in 17 games this season. Steven Kampfer, who has seen just one game this season, is expected to step in Kulikov's place.

Dmitry Kulikov left Saturday's win over the Lightning after being hit by J.T. Brown in the second period.

Kulikov had been playing with a sore ankle, but it's unclear if that's the reason he was forced from the game. We'll get an update on his status prior to Florida's next game on Monday night.

Dmitry Kulikov had a disappointing minus-4 rating in Thursday's 5-2 loss to San Jose.

His defensive partner, Alex Petrovic, was on the ice for all of the Sharks' goals and finished with a minus-5 rating. Jaromir Jagr had a minus-4 rating as well in the match. They will look to bounce back against Los Angeles on Saturday.

Despite a broken nose, Dmitry Kulikov will play against the Capitals on Saturday.

Who says there are athletes tougher than hockey players? Only fools, that's who. Kulikov has limited fantasy value, but if your pool rewards PIMs (15), blocks (14), and hits (14) his three helpers will also combine for a nice depth defender.

Dmitry Kulikov sustained a broken nose in Friday night's game against the Bruins.

He was checked into the boards while off-balance by the Bruins' Brad Marchand. Kulikov is listed as questionable for Saturday night's game against the Capitals. If the swelling goes down around his nose and he is fitted with a protective cage, it is possible Kulikov could play. Stay tuned for further updates.
