Simon Despres will return to Pittsburgh for the first time since the trade that sent him to Anaheim.

Despres was drafted by the Penguins in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. The 24-year-old played in Pittsburgh between 2011-12 to 2014-15. "I was here from 18 to 24 years old," Despres said. "Those were very important years in your lifespan where you develop your character, develop your habits. Grow as an adult. I did that with this team."
