Zack Kassian potted his ninth goal of the season to lift the Canucks to a 2-1 win over Boston Tuesday night.

Kassian has now found the back of the net four times in his last three games, thanks to the fact he's been paired with Daniel and Henrik Sedin on Vancouver's top line. The offense isn't likely to last, but he may score to enough to be worth owning for his meaty penalty minute totals. Ryan Stanton also scored for the Canucks in the win.

Zack Kassian scored a goal in Vancouver's 4-0 win over the New York Islanders.

Kassian has now scored three goals in his last two contests. The 24-year-old power forward has been sharing the ice with some of Vancouver's premiere talents like the Sedin twins and Radim Vrbata. Kassian hasn't produced as much as the Canucks would have hoped but if he can get hot, he can be an important piece of their roster. He has eight goals and 14 points in 34 games this season. Kassian has seven points in his last seven games.

Zack Kassian was expected to be a healthy scratch but drew into the Canucks lineup as Alex Burrows was out with a lower body injury.

Not only did Kassian draw into the lineup but he was put on the top line with the Sedin twins and responded with the Canucks only two goals of the night. Burrows is hoping he does not turn into another Wally Pipp.

Zack Kassian scored two goals in Vancouver's 4-2 loss to New Jersey on Friday night.

Kassian was a healthy scratch in Vancouver's last game but he responded in a big way. The Canucks found themselves down 3-0 when Kassian scored his first goal of the game in the second period. Kassian brought Vancouver to within one goal at the 3:04 mark of the third period. Unfortunately for the Canucks, they were unable to complete the comeback. The interesting thing about Kassian's goals is that they were both set up by the Sedin twins. If Kassian continues to play with Henrik and Daniel, it could impact his fantasy stock significantly. The 24-year-old has seven goals and 13 points in 33 games this season.
Feb 20 - 9:38 PM

Zack Kassian will return to the Canucks' lineup as Alex Burows takes a seat versus the New Jersey Devils on Friday night.

Kassian has just 11 points, 39 PIMs, and 63 hits in 32 games this season. Burrows meanwhile has 12 goals and 25 points this season, and is having his best season since 2011-12 where he scored 28 goals and 52 points.
Feb 20 - 6:21 PM

Zack Kassian will be scratched against the New York Rangers on Thursday night.

It appears that Kassian's days in North America's Pacific Northwest are numbered, but regardless of who trades for him, it's difficult to advice that you pick him up for offensive production. Kassian has just five goals and 11 points through 32 games this season, and his career high is just 14 goals and 29 points from last season.

The Canucks’ priority is still to find a top-six forward, according to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun.

General manager Jim Benning has been searching all season, and the trade deadline doesn’t figure to be the best time to work something out, unless he’s desperate because many other teams would probably like to add top-six help. LeBrun says that Zack Kassian and Shawn Matthias are available. Outside of the Sedins and Radim Vrbata, the Canucks are thin on high-end scoring talent.

Zach Kassian recorded two assists in Vancouver's big 5-2 win over Boston on Friday night.

Kassian got the scoring started when he sent some slick cross-crease sauce right on to Shawn Matthias' tape just 1:41 into the game. He'd assist on Matthias' third goal later on after intercepting Dennis Seidenberg's ill-advised pass. Kassian now has six assists and 11 points on the season.
Feb 14 - 1:51 AM

Zack Kassian was an assist short of the Gordie Howe hat trick on Saturday.

Kassian scored his third of the season and got into his first fight in 80 games in the first period. Kassian has been a healthy scratch on a few occasions this season and also missed 14 games with a broken finger. He has seven points in 27 games with a minus-seven rating and 39 penalty minutes.
Feb 8 - 11:43 AM

Zack Kassian and Yannick Weber will be healthy scratches against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night.

It'll be Kassian's second straight seating. Through 26 games, the 24 year old forward has tallied just two goals, six points, 34 PIMs, and 53 hits. Weber meanwhile has put up four goals, 11 points, 33 hits, and 34 blocks in 37 games this season. Neither seem to have much fantasy value this season.

Feb 3 - 8:48 PM

Zack Kassian was made a surprise healthy scratch on Sunday afternoon, he'll join Yannick Weber and Ryan Stanton in the stands against Minnesota.

Well if that doesn't stir up the rumor mill, nothing will. Kassian has just two goals and six points in this very disappointing season, and he owns a $1.75M cap hit for another season. Weber and Stanton, as desirable as they may be, currently share Kassian's status for your fantasy squad as non-viable.

Feb 1 - 5:38 PM

Zack Kassian is in the lineup for the Canucks Monday against the Panthers.

With Brad Richardson out with an injury, Kassian will be a part of the Canucks lineup Monday. In 22 games played this year, he has just two goals and three assists and has been mentioned in quite a few trade rumors recently. It wouldn't be surprising to see him in a new uniform in the upcoming days.
Jan 19 - 7:43 PM

Zack Kassian, who was a healthy scratch on Friday, would not be bothered by a trade.

Trade rumors have been bandied about and Kassian has obviously heard them. "I am at the point now if it happens, it happens," Kassian said. "It means another team wants you and maybe you get a little more opportunity. I am a Vancouver Canuck, I love it here and especially the guys here, so I am not thinking too much about that stuff." Kassian has five points and 30 penalty minutes in 22 games this season.
Jan 17 - 11:31 AM

Zack Kassian, Yannick Weber, and Frank Corrado are expected to be healthy scratches Friday night against Carolina.

It'll be Kassian's second straight healthy benching as his name enters the trade rumor mill. Through 22 games the 23 year old winger has just five points, 30 PIMs, and 42 hits this season. As much as Kassian's been a disappointment, Weber and Corrado are simply lacking in fantasy value.
