Peter Holland (concussion) won't play Wednesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Leafs won't get Leo Komarov back from injury either for that contest either. Toronto will have two games left on the 2015-16 schedule after that, so time is running out for them to return before the end of the season.
Apr 5 - 1:27 PM

The injury to Peter Holland is a concussion.

Given there is only a little over a week in the season, Holland may not play again this campaign. Still, he is on the mend so there is still a possibility that he could return.
Apr 2 - 11:27 AM

It is looking like Peter Holland will be out of action for another 10 days.

He did not attend Friday's practice due to an undisclosed injury and he obviously won't play Saturday night against Buffalo. Keep Holland on reserve for now.
Mar 19 - 1:05 PM

Peter Holland didn't attend Friday's practice due to an undisclosed injury.

Holland is being described as day-to-day. He has nine goals and 27 points in 65 contests this season.
Mar 18 - 3:09 PM

Peter Holland has played as the Maple Leafs' number one centre the last two games.

He is subbing in for Nazem Kadri. It says a lot of the current state of the Buds that Holland is getting first-line ice time. That said, the Leafs did just defeat Vancouver on the road and Holland has taken 20 shots on goal in his last four games. All that aside, we can't recommend Holland at this time.
Feb 15 - 12:08 PM

Peter Holland scored his eighth goal of the year in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Calgary.

He scored his fifth power-play marker in the first period to tie the game at 1-1. It was Holland's first goal since Jan. 7 and he has contributed four points in his last seven outings.
Feb 10 - 11:30 AM

If you are looking for a bang for your buck with respect to power-play stats. consider the Maple Leafs' Peter Holland.

Despite the fact that Holland sits eighth on the Leafs in power-play ice time, he is tied for the team lead with nine power-play points. An anomaly? Perhaps. But we would stick with Holland until he slows down.
Jan 9 - 11:43 AM

Peter Holland had the Maple Leafs' only tally during Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Kings.

It was a pretty goal as Holland took a cross-ice pass off his skate, looked off his shot, then snapped one through Jonathan Quick. With poise like that, it's not surprising he has seven goals (four on the power play now) and 17 points in 34 games this season.
Jan 8 - 1:59 AM

Peter Holland lit the lamp for the Maple Leafs in their 4-1 win against the Blues on Saturday night.

Quite the statement from the lowly Maple Leafs. Holland also had a game-high seven shots on goal. While he only has six goals and 16 points, you can’t help but think there’s more on the way in the future with his skill set. Michael Grabner (goal, assist), James van Riemsdyk and Nazem Kadri got the other goals. Leo Komarov picked up two assists.

Peter Holland had two assists in Toronto's 6-3 loss to the Islanders

He was also credited with four hits and two shots in the contest. Holland helped set up goals by P.A. Parenteau and Shawn Matthias in the defeat. He has 15 points in 30 games this year.

Peter Holland had a goal, assist and season-high 19:59 of ice time in Toronto's overtime loss to San Jose on Thursday night.

In Holland's first 21 games of the season, his highest amount of ice time in a game was 15:34. In each of the last four games, the 24-year-old has played more than 17 minutes. With just 12 points in 25 games, Mike Babcock's new confidence in him is not be enough to warrant a fantasy pickup.

Peter Holland had his fifth goal of the season called back in Toronto's 1-0 loss to Minnesota on Thursday.

The play was ruled to be offside after a coach's challenge by the Wild. It marked the 10th time in 26 games this season that the Maple Leafs have scored zero or one goal.

Peter Holland, who scored in Saturday's loss to Washington, can't explain his recent hot streak.

"There isn’t a simple answer," Holland said. "I want to say confidence, but what came first, the chicken or the egg? Because it’s not like I had it before things started going well. I’m just bearing down. Trying to be a little more physical was something I concentrated on when I came back in. I try to get a bump early to get in the game and it seemed like bounces have started going my way." Holland has three goals and seven points since being benched by Mike Babcock nine games ago.

Peter Holland scored in the Maple Leafs’ 4-2 loss to the Capitals on Saturday night.

Holland has four goals and nine points 18 games, so he’s not much of a fantasy factor. He did show some promise in the AHL, though it’ll be some time before we recommend him in leagues. Leo Komarov got the other goal, while Dion Phaneuf picked up two helpers.
