Mar 22 - 6:27 PM

Peter Holland didn't skate Thursday morning because of the flu.

He should be considered doubtful to play against Los Angeles. Nikolai Kulemin will line up as a center if Holland is unable to dress.
Mar 13 - 3:20 PM

Peter Holland has been recalled by Toronto.

Dave Bolland is still unavailable so Holland will rejoin the big club. He has five goals and five assists in 32 games with the Leafs.
Mar 5 - 9:12 AM

Peter Holland's call-up didn't last very long, as the Toronto Maple Leafs sent him back to the AHL on Sunday.

Holland has 10 points in 32 NHL games this season, also collecting 14 PIM and a +1 rating. He also has four points in four games with the Toronto Marlies, while he was similarly productive with the Anaheim Ducks and their AHL affiliate.
Mar 2 - 12:27 PM

Peter Holland has been called up by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Holland has six goals and 11 points in 35 games with Toronto and Anaheim this season. Given that Dave Bolland suffered a setback and isn't likely to play Saturday, it's not surprising that the Leafs have recalled Holland. He reportedly spent four or five days in the hospital because of an infection following his lace bite issue.
Mar 1 - 11:23 AM

Peter Holland has been returned to the minors.

Holland had been sidelined with "lace bites" prior to the Olympic break. He has 10 points in 31 games with the Maple Leafs this season since he was acquired from Anaheim. His demotion is another sign that Dave Bolland could be back in the lineup when Toronto plays the New York Islanders on Thursday.

Feb 24 - 11:05 AM

Peter Holland remains out of the Toronto lineup as he is still dealing with the after effects of wearing new skates.

He had what players like to refer to as "lace bites" and has not played in a week. Nikolai Kulemin will likely play center again Saturday in Holland's place.
Feb 8 - 12:03 PM

Peter Holland will likely not play against the Senators Saturday night.

He has lace bites from new skates that has caused both his feet to swell up. In fact, Holland was seen using crutches at the ACC Saturday. Consider Holland day-to-day.
Feb 1 - 1:43 PM

Peter Holland is projected to play Saturday.

He missed the morning skate, but he's on the ice for the pregame warmup. He is centering the third line between Nikolai Kulemin and Carter Ashton. Holland has five goals and five assists in 24 games with the Leafs this season.
Jan 18 - 6:43 PM

Peter Holland is not on the ice for the Maple Leafs' practice Saturday morning.

This has led to speculation that he has some sort of injury. The fact that Troy Bodie was recalled from the AHL and is practicing in Holland's spot adds to the speculation. We would consider Holland questionable for Saturday night's game against Montreal for now.
Jan 18 - 11:01 AM

Peter Holland has been recalled by Toronto.

In 22 games with the Leafs, he has collected five goals and nine points. Holland wasn't getting much ice time prior to his demotion last Wednesday, so it will be interesting to see what kind of role he gets in his return.
Jan 13 - 5:27 PM

The Toronto Maple Leafs have sent Peter Holland to the minors.

Toronto acquired Holland from Anaheim in exchange for Jesse Blacker, a conditional third round pick, and a seventh round pick. Holland has five goals and nine points in 22 games since the trade.
Jan 8 - 2:20 PM

Peter Holland, who filled in effectively when Toronto was short on centers this past month, is going to find playing time difficult to get going forward.

Holland registered eight points in his last 10 games going into Sunday night's contest but found himself on the Buds' fourth line against Carolina and had only eight minutes of ice time. With the return to action of top-line pivot Tyler Bozak, the team's desire to play Nazem Kadri on the Buds' second unit and the presence of chekcing wizard Jay McClement, Holland has no where else to go but the fourth line. This will all but eliminate any fantasy value he may have developed during the month of December. Drop him.

Despite registering eight points in his last 10 games, Peter Holland skated on the fourth line during Saturday morning's practice.

Tyler Bozak centered the top unit and pushed Holland down a couple of lines. It remains to be seen if Holland will be relegated to fourth line minutes against the Hurricanes on Sunday.
