Peter Holland will compete for Toronto's third-line spot at training camp.

The Leafs added Petri Kontiola and Mike Santorelli in free agency to battle with Holland for the role. He expected there to be competition after the way the team ended last season, but he's hoping that his strong performance in the AHL playoffs will carry him to a permanent NHL position.
