Calvin de Haan leads the New York Islanders in blocked shots with 63.
The first round selection in 2009 and 12th overall, de Haan has only six assists in 30 games this season. The blueliner does not have a lot of fantasy value, even in deeper leagues. Sat, Dec 27, 2014 08:57:00 AM

De Haan seemed to imply that he's now healthy enough to play, but that Islanders coach Jack Capuano might keep him out of the lineup because the team's winning. He's still on the injured reserve list.

Calvin De Haan had two assists on Sunday.

De Haan was recalled by the Islanders at the end of November and now has a goal and six points in 21 games with a minus-five rating. The former 12th overall pick in the 2009 Draft had a couple of surgeries last season to repair a wonky shoulder and was expected to spend all season in the AHL but he has impressed the Islanders with his play. He has little fantasy value at this time.
