Apr 5 - 7:02 PM

Calvin de Haan left Monday's game with an undisclosed injury and didn't return before the end of the game.

Islanders head coach Jack Capuano didn't provide a real update on de Haan's status after the game, but did admit that not being able to return to the game was "Not a good sign for now." He's considered day-to-day for now.
Apr 4 - 9:58 PM

Calvin de Haan recorded an assist in the Islanders' 4-1 loss to Philadelphia Monday night.

Mar 22 - 10:10 AM

As expected, Calvin de Haan (lower body) returned on Monday after missing four consecutive games.

De Haan was absent for nine contests over the stretch of 11 games, but he said his more recent stint on the sidelines was largely for precautionary reasons. "It hasn’t been ideal, but the training staff’s been good and they’ve been understanding, and so have the coaches," de Haan said. "Sometimes this stuff takes a little longer to heal up. We’re in a good position right now and they want me to be healthy for the playoffs." De Haan has two goals and 10 points in 58 contests in 2015-16.
Mar 15 - 9:32 AM

Calvin de Haan (lower body) will be back in the lineup on Monday night.

Brian Strait will take a seat in the press box, so that de Haan can play in his first game since Mar. 3. He has 10 points in 57 games this season and doesn't do much fantasy wise, but his return will help the Islanders defensively.
Mar 14 - 12:01 PM

Calvin de Haan (lower body) will return to Islanders lineup early this week.

De Haan figures to play either Monday night when the Islanders are home to the Florida Panthers or Tuesday night when they travel to Pittsburgh to play the Penguins. The 24 year-old has been out of action since March 3, as he figured to have aggravated a previous lower-body injury. In 57 games this season, he has only posted two goals and ten points this season.
Mar 14 - 9:12 AM

Calvin de Haan (lower body) returned to practice Friday.

De Haan is back to being day-to-day after it looked like he was a while away as recently as Wednesday. He has missed eight of the Islanders last 10 games and it looks like Saturday will be nine of 11. He has no fantasy value as a player but is good defensively so it helps Thomas Greiss in net.
Mar 12 - 8:38 AM

Calvin de Haan's (lower body) timetable for returning sounds worse than day-to-day.

"He’s not anywhere close to skating yet," Islanders coach Jack Capuano said. de Haan has only played twice in the Islanders' last nine games and has missed two straight contests. He has two goals and 10 points in 57 contests in 2015-16.
Mar 9 - 9:54 AM

Calvin De Haan won't play in Sunday's game against the New York Rangers.

De Haan returned to the lineup against Vancouver on Tuesday after missing five games because of a lower-body injury. After a long flight home from out West and a day off on Friday, it seems as though he re-injured himself at some point. He's considered day-to-day.
Mar 5 - 5:52 PM

Feb 21 - 12:15 PM

Calvin de Haan missed Friday's game with a lower body injury.

It was the second game in a row that the former 12th overall pick in 2009 missed with the injury. He should return soon as the Islanders did not want to recall another blueliner. The defenseman has a goal and nine points in 55 games so his fantasy value is negligible.
