Kyle Palmieri scored two goals, one being short-handed in a 4-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.

Palmieri made a beautiful move on Niklas Kronwall and hesitated just long enough to leave Jared Coreau sprawling in his crease to score his first career short-handed goal. Palmieri is well on his way to another solid season, having now picked up 30 points in 49 games this season. Adam Henrique (SHG) and Stefan Noesen also scored for the Devils in the win.

Kyle Palmieri scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild.

The Devils overcame 2-0 and 3-2 deficits in this one. Palmieri picked up the primary assist on Pavel Zacha's power play goal at the 13:19 mark of the second period before scoring the game-tying goal (3-3) at the 9:30 mark of the third. Palmieri finished the game with a plus-1 rating and three shots on goal in 15:30 of ice time. The 25-year-old has 10 goals and 27 points in 44 games in 2016-17.
Jan 17 - 10:44 PM

Kyle Palmieri has been slowly turning his season around.

Palmieri, who scored 30 goals in 2015-16 but was off to a very slow start this campaign, has registered 11 points in his last 14 games. If you can pry him from a disgruntled owner, do so as Palmieri could be a nice second-half speculation.

Kyle Palmieri picked up a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over the Calgary Flames on Friday.

Palmieri beat Johnson with a pinpoint wrister over the blocker 6:22 into the first period and then picked up an assist on Taylor Hall's game-winning goal. After a career season which saw Palmieri pick up 57 points, he is now on pace for a very respectable 17 goals and 47 points this season. Fantasy managers drafting Palmieri hoping he'd produce the same numbers were surely going to be disappointed this season. However with five points in his last six games, he still has half the season to pick up the pace and match his career high.
Jan 14 - 12:15 AM

Kyle Palmieri tallied his seventh goal of the season during Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

The goal gives him 20 points on the year as well. At this point it would seem his 30-goal and 57-point campaign last season was a bit of an aberration.

Kyle Palmieri is riding a three-game point streak.

It might not seem like much, but it's welcomed production for a Devils team that simply doesn't score. The 25-year-old has also scored five points in his last five contests. After scoring 30 goals last season, Palmieri is only on pace to hit 15 this year, but maybe he's starting to come around.

Kyle Palmieri is starting to get going after a disappointing start to his campaign.

Palmieri's six goals in 32 games is a big step down from his breakout 30 markers in 2015-16, but the good news is that Palmieri found the back of the net in back-to-back contests right before the Christmas break. "It’s nice to see him get on the scoreboard," Devils coach John Hynes said. "More importantly for us is his game is coming back a little bit better than what it was earlier in the year in terms of the type of player we know he can be, which is a real important part of our team. We like the way he skates and competes, and we’d like to see him get better in those areas." One thing to keep in mind is that it's not just his goals that have declined this season, but also his shots per game. He averaged 2.70 last season and is down to 1.88 SOG per contest in 2016-17. If he is to make a comeback in the second half of the season, then he'll need to start shooting significantly more.

Kyle Palmieri scored in New Jersey's 4-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Palmieri scored at the 13:24 mark of the second period to cut the Pens' lead to 2-1 at the time. John Moore and Taylor Hall picked up the assists on the Devils' only goal. Palmieri has six goals and 12 assists in 32 games.

Kyle Palmieri's two assists for the Devils on Sunday night were not enough to give his team two points.

The Devils surrendered a late tying goal against the Rangers and lost in a shootout, but Palmieri got on the board for the second time in his past three games to give him four goals and 16 points through 29 games this season.

Kyle Palmieri snapped his eight-game goal drought during Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Canucks.

Palmieri shot at a 13.5% clip last year for his first 30-goal season. Tonight's marker gives him four on the season and an 8.7% clip. If he can rise back up to his career's 11.6% clip, then he can at least top 20-goals.
