Jordan Caron has been called up by Boston.

He practiced with the team on Sunday because Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic were missing from the session. Caron has registered nine goals and 19 points in 23 AHL matches, so he's getting another look in the NHL.

Jordan Caron has been sent to the minors.

Caron only played in one game during his NHL recent and he logged 3:35 minutes in that contest. He was taken in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, but he's struggled to establish himself with Boston and at this point, he's running out of time.

Jordan Caron is back up with the Boston Bruins.

It's unclear if he'll play Monday night against Pittsburgh, though. He'll be a game-time decision as Brad Marchand may get back into the lineup.

The Boston Bruins sent Jordan Caron to the AHL.

The 24-year-old has no points in one game this season.

The Boston Bruins recalled Jordan Caron from the AHL on Saturday.

It appears that the Bruins are doing some injury-related roster shuffling. Caron has nine points in as many AHL contests and failed to score a point in his lone NHL game with Boston this season.

The Bruins have sent Jordan Caron to the minors.

Caron only participated in one of the Bruins' first four games. He'll probably end up enjoying another stint with Boston in 2014-15, but he'll have a hard time earning a permanent roster spot with the team.

Jordan Caron was back up with the Boston Bruins in Thursday's loss to Detroit.

He was a healthy scratch in the match and he was in the minors at the time of Boston's season opener on Wednesday versus Philadelphia. To make room for Caron and to save cap space, the Bruins also sent Malcolm Subban and Brian Ferlin to the AHL.

Jordan Caron has been sent to the AHL.

He suited up in 35 games with Boston last season and another seven matches in the playoffs. Caron totaled just two goals and two assists over that time.

Jordan Caron and Craig Cunningham have both cleared waivers, but they will remain with the Boston Bruins for now.

There's still a chance that they could be in the lineup for Boston's season opener against Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

The Boston Bruins placed Jordan Caron on waivers on Saturday.

The 25th pick of the 2009 NHL Draft hasn't been able to get it done at the NHL level with Boston and honestly hasn't lit up the AHL, either. This move makes it clear that Simon Gagne is indeed in the running for a possible roster spot with the B's.

Jordan Caron played a much needed impressive game against the Capitals Friday night.

He is fighting for a job on the Bruins' fourth line and to date has had a mediocre camp. Friday night, however, that all changed as Caron won the praise of Boston coach Claude Julien. "I thought he [Caron] had a real strong game," said Julien. "There's no doubt he's fighting for a spot. He wants to show us that he belongs here. If he plays like that, he's got a real good chance of sticking. He was skating well, finishing his checks, creating thing. Jordan is capable of doing those things." All that said, he has no real fantasy value even if he breaks camp with the Bruins.

Jordan Caron is still a member of the Boston Bruins and he's looking to try to earn a spot with the team out of training camp.

"It's the first time I think since I've been here there's been this much (open) room," Caron said. "It's going to be interesting. It's going to be a lot of battling. I'm ready for a challenge and ready to go." There were some trade rumors circling around him during the off-season, but the Bruins ended up re-signing him to a one-year deal and it looks like he'll be with the organization again in 2014-15. Caron had just three points in 35 games with the big club last year.

Jordan Caron has agreed to a one-year, $600,000 contract with the Boston Bruins.

The Bruins investigated the possibility of trading Caron, not because he requested a move, but because they were trying to be fair to him and felt he might have a better opportunity to play regularly elsewhere. Nothing materialized from that, but he still might end up being dealt before the summer's over. Caron had three points and 36 penalty minutes in 35 games last season.

Boston has not given Jordan Caron a qualifying yet because they are trying to trade him.

"We've got one prepared, but we're not sure yet," said GM Peter Chiarelli. "He's still young, he's been in and out of our lineup, and in fairness to him we've looked for another [NHL] spot for him. It wasn't out of the request of Jordan. He wants to stay in Boston, but at his age [24 in November], he also wants a chance to play on the regular basis." He suited up in 35 games with the Bruins in 2013-14 and he collected just three points.
