Jordan Caron will tag in for Scottie Upshall on Tuesday night against Nashville.

This must be a disappointing development for Upshall as he was drafted and developed by Nashville. Then again, he only saw 77 games with them before being traded to Philadelphia in 2007. Caron meanwhile has skated a whole 15 shifts during his first two games with the Blues, so we would leave him on the wire.

The St. Louis Blues have recalled Jordan Caron from the AHL.

Nine goals and 14 points is a pretty good rate for any forward, problem is for the 25-year-old Caron is that that's nearly his career marks through 154 NHL games. Surely if he's ready for the big boys, now's about when he'll start to shine. Right?

Jordan Caron has been returned to AHL Chicago.

Caron has nine goals and 14 points in 25 AHL games in 2015-16. The 25-year-old forward is a veteran of 154 career NHL contests.

Jordan Caron will make his Blues debut on Tuesday night against his former club, the Bruins.

Caron was originally drafted 25th overall in 2009 by Boston but through 153 career NHL games with the Bruins, Avalanche, and Blues-to-be, the 25-year-old has just 12 goals and 28 points. So unfortunately don't look to him for short-term depth support.

Jordan Caron will be a healthy scratch in Monday's game against the Flyers.

The Blues recalled Caron on Sunday, but he won't suit up tonight. Defenseman Robert Bortuzzo will also be a healthy scratch against Philadelphia. Caron had nine goals and 14 points with AHL Chicago prior to his call-up.

The St. Louis Blues have signed Jordan Caron to a one-year, two-way deal.

Caron became an unrestricted free agent after the Colorado Avalanche decided not to qualify him. He played in 30 games with the Avalanche and Boston Bruins last season, but failed to record a single point.

Colorado Avalanche GM Joe Sakic announced that the team will not quaify RFA forward Jordan Caron.

Because he won't be qualified, Caron will become an UFA come July 1st. He came over the Colorado as part of the Maxime Talbot trade in March. The former 25th overall pick by Boston in 2009 has posted just 28 points in 153 sporadic games over the last six seasons.

Jordan Caron, who was acquired by the Avalanche from the Bruins in a deadline deal, is not faring any better in Colorado than he did in Boston.

Caron did not register a point in 11 games for the Bruins and has no points in 14 for the Avs. Need we say, stay away.

Jordan Caron skated alongside Matt Duchene and Jarome Iginla at practice on Tuesday.

He didn't record a point in 11 games for Boston this season, but Colorado appears to be giving him a good opportunity to succeed right off the bat. "It hasn't always been the way I wanted it to be in Boston, so I'm excited for a new start and to prove people wrong and show what I can do in the NHL," Caron said.

GM Joe Sakic thinks Jordan Caron will benefit from playing in Colorado.

"It hasn't worked out for him in Boston, but we like his size and speed and we felt a change of scenery might be beneficial for him, and it was a good chance for us to see what he can do here." Caron had trouble staying in Boston's lineup and he produced just 12 goals and 28 points in 134 career NHL contests.
