Matt Calvert was a minus-4 in Columbus' 5-0 loss to Vancouver on Friday night.

All but four of Columbus' skaters finished with a minus rating tonight. The Blue Jackets fired 31 shots at Vancouver goalie Ryan Miller, but they were unable to sneak one by him. The Jackets have now lost five consecutive games.

Jack Skille will also join him in the press box as they recover from injuries. With just five points between the two of them and a lineup plagued by injury, it's no wonder why Coach Richards is slow to re-insert them back into the lineup.

Calvert took part in Monday's practice. "It felt good to be back to practice," Calvert said. "It's been two wins now for the boys and it’s an exciting time to come back." He's been out for four straight games.

Calvert was injured in a game against the Carolina Hurricanes earlier this month and hasn't played since. He has one goal and one assist in nine games this season.

Matt Calvert tallied two goals -- including the game-winner -- for the Blue Jackets, who defeated the Penguins 4-3 in double overtime of Game 2 of their first-round series.

The feisty Blue Jackets pick up the franchise's first playoff victory. In this one, the Blue Jackets went down 2-0 and 3-1. Columbus matched the powerful Penguins lineup throughout, impressively scoring three special-teams goals. Calvert scored a short-handed goal to pull the team to 3-2 and the winner at 1:10 of the second overtime. Ryan Johansen scored on the power play and had a helper on Jack Johnson's goal that tied the game at three. With Fedor Tyutin injured early, Johnson played 38:31. David Savard had two helpers, tallying 33:46 of ice time.
