Anthony Peluso has signed a two-year, $1.35 million deal with the Winnipeg Jets.
Peluso had two points and 86 penalty minutes in 49 contests with Winnipeg in 2014-15. He did miss some time due to injury, but he also was listed as a healthy scratch on occasion. Anthony Peluso, Eric O'Dell and Jay Harrison will each be scratched from Sunday's tilt with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Peluso will sit for his eighth straight game, and he's produced just two points, 86 PIMs, 96 hits over 48 games this season. Harrison, who's sitting for his second straight, has put up 35 blocks and hits along with 42 PIMs over 20 games with the Jets this season.

This will be Peluso's sixth straight game in the stands. He's produced two points, 86 PIMs, 96 hits over 48 games this season. Consider picking him up for tough guy attributes on a spot-start should he return to the lineup.

Galiardi and Ellerby simply don't have any fantasy value. But Peluso at least takes the body. He's thrown 96 hits and taken 86 PIMs through 48 games this season.

Anthony Peluso will skate to the right of TJ Galiardi and Jim Slater to form Winnipeg's fourth line on Thursday versus the Predators.

Peluso has been playing a lot of late, and has accumulated 60 PIMs and 76 hits through 36 games thus far. Well beyond anything Galiardi or Slater has produced.

Anthony Peluso logged just 6:22 of ice time on Tuesday, but he managed to score his first goal of the season.

He was also credited with three hits in the match. He doesn't get much ice time and his marker snapped a 46-game drought that dates back to Dec. 31 of 2013. Peluso has two points and 40 hits in 15 appearances with the Jets this campaign.

The 25-year-old has been limited to three games this season. He hasn't registered a point in 2014-15.

The Winnipeg Jets took Anthony Peluso off IR on Sunday, freeing him up to face the Minnesota Wild if need be.

He's not all that noteworthy fantasy-wise, so JFYI.

Peluso hasn't been taken off the injured reserve list yet though. He has no points in three games in 2014-15.

Anthony Peluso fired a puck 103.9 mph to win Winnipeg's hardest shot challenge at the team's skills competition Wednesday night.

The fourth-line tough guy, who as one goal on just 11 shots in 16 games, was a surprise winner. He'll probably be encouraged to shoot more now, though. Peluso still has one game to serve on his three-game suspension for hitting Dallas Stars defenseman Alex Goligoski from behind. He will be eligible to return on Sunday, December 22nd in Vancouver.
