Robert Bortuzzo might draw into the Blues' lineup on Thursday.

That's based on the morning skate, although nothing has been announced yet. If Bortuzzo does play though, it will likely be alongside Kevin Shattenkirk. It would also be Bortuzzo's first game out of the press box since May 9.
May 19 - 6:29 PM

Robert Bortuzzo served as an extra defender during Saturday's practice.

He was a healthy scratch for Game 7 against Dallas and it looks like he will be in the press box again for the start of the Western Conference Final versus San Jose. Chris Butler and Peter Harrold, who haven't seen any action in the postseason, are expected to be scratched too.
May 14 - 1:29 PM

The St. Louis Blues will insert Robert Bortuzzo into their lineup ahead of Game 6 against the Stars.

Bortuzzo's getting a shot to play because Joel Edmundson has had a tough time in the series. Edmundson has made a number of mental mistakes against Dallas and the Blues have decided they need to make a change. "Our feeling is more we need more attacking right now," head coach Ken Hitchcock said. "Bortz is a guy that jumps up on the play and really attacks, plays on his toes and he’s good at joining the rush. Eddie’s more of a defending player, a stay-at-home kind of guy."
May 9 - 6:16 PM

Robert Bortuzzo scored just his second goal of the season during Friday's 6-5 loss to Boston.
