Robert Bortuzzo will be a healthy scratch in Monday's game against Winnipeg.

The veteran blueliner is regarded as more of a defensive defenseman and doesn't usually carry any fantasy value anyway. Ryan Reaves will also watch the game from the press box.

Robert Bortuzzo will be scratched against the Devils on Tuesday night.

Nov 10 - 6:44 PM

Robert Bortuzzo had a great night on Friday, recording two thirds of the illustrious Gordie How hat trick.

Bortuzzo scored only the sixth goal of his career to put the Blues up 3-1 mid way through the game. Only 71 seconds later, he'd drop the mitts with Derek Dorsett. Not a bad night at all.

After being a healthy scratch in the regular season opener, Robert Bortuzzo will play in Saturday's game against the Minnesota Wild.

"Anytime you’re sitting out games, it’s disappointing, a little frustrating," Bortuzzo said. "Obviously opening night is something kind of special. But you’re going to stay positive about things and show that you’re working hard in practice and ready to contribute every day."

Robert Bortuzzo, Scottie Upshall and Scott Gomez will be healthy scratches in Thursday's game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Bortuzzo has been dealing with the injury early on in camp, but it doesn't look like it will force him to miss much time (if any) this pre-season. The 26-year-old provides the Blues with a physical presence on the back end, but he won't have any fantasy value going forward.
