Gazdic played only 7:08 in a losing cause, picking up one hit. He has a goal and an assist with 36 penalty minutes in 25 games this season. He missed a couple of games with the injury.

Luke Gazdic and Jordan Oesterle will be scratched against the Minnesota Wild on Friday night.

Over his last 10 games Gazdic has been much better, notching two points, 20 PIMs, and 22 hits. Much better for a forward who had 127 PIMs and 103 hits last season that is. Oesterle, a 22 year old defender, has seven goals and 22 points in 53 games for AHL Oklahoma City.

Luke Gazdic (chin) won't play Wednesday.

He didn't suffer a concussion when he was hit hard by Winnipeg's Dustin Byfuglien on Monday. Gazdic required eight fresh stitches under his chin and he should be considered day-to-day. Look elsewhere for your penalty minutes and hits.

Luke Gazdic left Monday's game after absorbing a big hit from Winnipeg's Dustin Byfuglien.

Gazdic hit his chin due to the subsequent fall and suffered a large cut as a result. Consider him day-to-day for now. He has a goal and an assist in 24 games in 2014-15.

Luke Gazidc fought Chris Neil on Saturday afternoon in an effort to turn the momentum Edmonton's way.

Gazdic got Neil to drop the mitts just three seconds after Milan Michalek made it 4-2 Ottawa early in the second period. Unfortunately, it was the Sens who'd score each of the next three goals for a 7-2 win. Gazdic now has 36 PIMs in 23 games thus far.

Unless you play in the deepest league possible, it’s very unlikely Gazdic’s goal helped anybody. The25-year-old winger has one goal and two points in 19 games this season. Rob Klinkhammer and Oscar Klefbom picked up the helpers.

Luke Gazdic will draw back into the Oilers lineup Wednesday night against the Penguins.

Gazdic will return to the Oilers lineup after being a healthy scratch in Monday’s game versus the Sharks since Taylor Hall and Benoit Pouliot are both sidelined with injuries. The 25-year-old forward is more of an enforcer than an impact fantasy player as he has just one assist in 17 games this season, but his 26 penalty minutes could help fantasy owners in need of PIMs.

Luke Gazdic will lace up the skates Tuesday night against the Minnesota Wild.

Gazdic will line up to the right of Matt Fraser and Anton Lander to form their fourth line. He was a prime contributor of PIMs last season with 127 in 62 games, but through 14 games this season he has just 16 PIMs. Making him a non-option for your squad.

Luke Gazdic and Keith Aulie will be healthy scratches against the Florida Panthers on Saturday night.

Aulie hasn't dressed since the calendar turned 2015, and Gazdic has skated just twice. Needless to say, neither have much fantasy value.
