Colton Sceviour scored a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Nashville.
The Stars got some solid production from their bottom-six forwards in this game. Not only did Sceviour have two points but so did Travis Moen. Sceviour picked up the only assist on Moen's second period goal. He then added a goal of his own in the third frame. The 25-year-old has eight goals and 25 points in 68 games this season. Date:

Forwards Colton Sceviour and Travis Moen and defenseman Jordie Benn are expected to be healthy scratches Monday night versus the Flames.

Sceviour will sit for a second straight game Monday night and hasn’t scored a point in six straight games. Moen will continue to watch from the sidelines as he hasn’t played in a game since February 17th and has just a goal and six assists in 40 games overall. Jordie Benn will also sit for a second consecutive game and has scored one goal and 14 assists in 60 games this year. Benn has been experiencing back troubles the last few days so him being sidelined shouldn’t come as a surprise. Either way, the trio does not carry any fantasy value.
Mar 30 - 8:35 PM

Colton Sceviour will skate to the right of Travis Moen and Shawn Horcoff to form the Stars' fourth line on Friday night against the Panthers.

Sceviour hasn't played in a week, and there isn't much fantasy value between these three forwards. With just 43 points and little else to show for their efforts, it cannot be suggested you pick up Sceviour, Moen or Horcoff.

Feb 13 - 7:19 PM

Colton Sceviour will be scratched against Boston on Tuesday night.

There was an outside chance that Tyler Seguin was going to be scratched with the flu, but Seguin seems to have found enough inspiration and medicine to plow through. Sceviour has six goals and 18 points with 47 hits through 46 games thus far.
Feb 10 - 6:46 PM

Colton Sceviour and David Schlemko will be healthy scratches in Sunday's game vs. the New York Rangers.

Brett Ritchie will take Sceviour's place in the lineup and he will skate on the Stars' top line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.
Feb 8 - 5:13 PM

Colton Sceviour will skate with Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin against the Washington Capitals on Saturday night.

This is a big opportunity for the 25 year old winger from Red Deer, Alberta. Sceviour has a goal and an assist with seven shots over his last five games for five goals and 13 points in 38 games this season. He may not be a long-term answer, but he could be a real boon for anyone needing short-term help so long as he plays with Benn and Seguin.

Jan 17 - 7:38 PM

Colton Sceviour's goal wasn't enough on Saturday as the Dallas Stars beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3.

Sceviour was a healthy scratch on Jan. 8, so it's nice to see the young player bounce back from that setback. He hasn't done a ton to take advantage of his partnership with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn overall, though.
Jan 10 - 7:10 PM

Colton Sceviour and David Schlemko will be healthy scratches against the Predators on Thursday night.

Neither has any fantasy value.

Colton Sceviour may get the chance to play alongside Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin against St. Louis Saturday night.

At least that's how the first line looked during Saturday morning's skate. Jason Spezza skated between Ales Hemsky and Erik Cole. If you looking for a one-night pick up, consider Sceviour.

Colton Sceviour scored a goal in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Vancouver.

Sceviour had no goals in the first 20 games of the season, but he's now scored twice in his last five games. Despite his recent production, the 25-year-old doesn't have any value in standard fantasy leagues. Sceviour has just six points in 25 games overall. Antoine Roussel added an empty net goal to ice the game for Dallas.

Based on Saturday morning's skate it looks as if Colton Sceviour will get another chance on the Stars' top line.

He practiced with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn. If Sceviour can keep this gig he may be worth something from a fantasy perspective. Of course the third position on the Stars' top line has been a revolving door this season so we wouldn't run to pick up Sceviour at this time. Much more evidence is needed before we jump on the Sceviour bandwagon.

Colton Sceviour found the back of the net for the first time this season in Thursday's loss to Detroit.

He scored shortly after Darren Helm opened the scoring in a 5-2 loss to the Red Wings. Sceviour has four points in 21 games, while averaging 12:42 of ice time.

Colton Sceviour (illness) returned to action on Saturday.

Sceviour missed one game with the illness and was minus-two in just 6:43 minutes of playing time. He has been a disappointment this season with only three assists in 19 games after scoring eight and assisting on four others in 26 NHL games last season. He also had 32 goals and 63 points in 54 AHL games in 2013-14.

Colton Sceviour is expected to play on Friday.

He's been a healthy scratch for the past two games, but will return because of Ryan Garbutt's two-game suspension. "It's a good opportunity," coach Lindy Ruff said. "Here's your chance." Sceviour has no goals and three assists in 18 games this campaign.
