He will play alongside Vincent Trocheck and Jussi Jokinen. Sceviour occupied that spot on Monday in a 4-3 overtime loss to Boston, but his pointless slump was extended to 10 games.

Sceviour finished the game with an even-strength goal, a power play tally, a shorthanded marker and another assist with five shots on goal and three blocked shots. The 27-year-old is now just six goals away from matching his career high of 11 set last season with the Dallas Stars.

Stars forward Colton Sceviour assisted on two goals to help Dallas defeat the Blues 3-2 in St. Louis Monday night and tie the teams' best-of-seven, second-round series 3-3.

The seventh and deciding game of the series will be played in Dallas Wednesday night. Monday, the Stars scored all three of their goals in the first period. Mattias Janmark and Vernon Fiddler scored 20 seconds apart to give Dallas a 2-0 lead by the 5:13 mark. Jason Spezza scored on the power play to make it 3-0 with 3:11 left in the first. Sceviour assisted on the goals by Fiddler and Spezza. They were his second and third assists of the playoffs. Janmark's goal was his second of the post-season. Fiddler's was his first and it was the fifth for Spezza.

Sceviour has two goals and three points in nine playoff games in 2016, but it wasn't enough to keep him in the lineup tonight. Curtis McKenzie, Patrik Nemeth and Jamie Oleksiak will also watch the game from the press box. Valeri Nichushkin and Brett Ritchie will be taking Sceviour and McKenzie's spots in the lineup.
