Tomas Vincour scored the game-tying goal late in the third, then the only one in the shootout as the Dallas Stars edged the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night 4-3.

It's extremely unlikely any fantasy owners own Vincour, unless your in a league that cherishes checking-line players, but the 21-year-old was huge on Thursday, in only 6:48. He tied the game with 1:15 left, for his fourth of the season, then scored in the fifth round of the skills competition. Jamie Benn had a goal and an assist, and he's now got 20 goals and 54 points on the season. Michael Ryder (29th) potted the other. Stephane Robidas had helpers on two of the goals.

Tomas Vincour is projected to start Thursday's match on the top line with Steve Ott and Jamie Benn.

"He's scored in the minors, so it's an opportunity for him," coach Glen Gulutzan said. "The message isn't score goals or you'll get moved, the message is play your tail off and see what we can do." Vincour has 11 goals and 15 points in 18 games at the AHL level, but he has one marker and two assists in 20 appearances with Dallas.

Tomas Vincour will miss another three weeks with a torn MCL.

It was thought he would miss a week or two when he was injured on December 16, but it now looks like it will be six weeks since the injury. He has had no fantasy value with a goal and three points in 14 games although he has some offensive upside.

Tomas Vincour suffered a knee injury on Thursday and sat out Friday's game.

There is no word on the severity of the injury so we'll call it day-to-day for now. Vincour only had a goal and two assists in 14 games this season so no one should miss him in fantasy pools.

Tomas Vincour will move up to the second line with Steve Ott and Mike Ribeiro for Wednesday's game against Los Angeles.

He will be filling for injured winger Brenden Morrow in the contest. Vincour doesn't have a point in four appearances with the Stars this season, but this is another good opportunity for him to get on the scoresheet.

The Dallas Stars called up Tomas Vincour, who will reportedly join Phillip Larsen in the team's lineup on Monday.

It's unclear who exactly Vincour (a forward) and Larsen (puck-moving defenseman) will replace in the Stars' lineup. Reports indicate that the moves are being made to inject new life into Dallas' struggling mix, not to account for injuries. Neither player should make to big of an impact fantasy-wise, though.
