Marcus Foligno is not playing Saturday night because of a lower-body injury.

Marcus Foligno was made a late scratch for Saturday's titl with the Devils due to an upper body injury.

Marcus Foligno performed well in Saturday's practice and scrimmage.

"I thought Marcus Foligno had a really good day and stood out both in the practice and in his scrimmage," said Sabres coach Dan Bylsma. "That’s the way he’s got to play. He played big. He played strong. He can skate so well. I thought he stood out as well." The 24-year-old scored eight goals and 20 points in 57 games last season.
Sep 20 - 8:38 AM

Marcus Foligno had four shots on goal in the Sabres’ 2-0 loss to the Penguins on Saturday night.

More of the same for the Sabres in the season finale — no offense. Foligno had eight goals and 20 points this year and would seem to have some upside if there were some playmakers around him.

Apr 3 - 9:39 PM

Marcus Foligno registered an assist in Saturday's 6-1 loss to Washington.

It was another embarrassing loss for the Sabres. "For players that are going to be here next year and down the road, you’ve got to be ready to go and build for the future," Foligno said. "For guys like me who are not happy where we are, next year should be on the rise. We’re going up the mountain, not down. Next year, it’s all about having a good start, and it starts now."
