Nate Prosser's finger was sliced by a skate in Game 4 against Chicago.

He required eight stitches to repair the damage. Prosser can become an unrestricted free agent in July, but he is open to re-signing with the Wild if the team is interested. He dressed in one playoff game with Minnesota and in 63 contests during the regular season.
May 11 - 3:20 PM

Nate Prosser looks like he'll be back in the lineup for Game 4.

He hasn't suited up in the playoffs this year, but he was paired with Matt Dumba during the morning skate. If Prosser does play then that would bump Jordan Leopold into the press box.
May 7 - 1:04 PM

Nate Prosser and Christian Folin will be scratched for Game Three on Tuesday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.

There simply isn't much fantasy value to speak of here, unfortunately.
May 5 - 6:46 PM

Nate Prosser and Christian Folin will be scratched for Game One on Friday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.

There simply isn't much fantasy value to speak of here, unfortunately. Folin has 11 points in 41 career NHL games without any playoff experience. While Prosser has no points in 10 career playoff games, and just 28 points in 189 career regular season games.
May 1 - 8:09 PM

Expect Nate Prosser to be a healthy scratch in game one of Minnesota's first round series against St. Louis.

It looks like Jordan Leopold will get into the game at Prosser's expense. Prosser finished the regular season with just two goals, seven points and a minus-1 rating in 63 games.
Apr 16 - 8:03 PM

Nate Prosser, Erik Haula and Christian Folin are healthy scratches in Thursday's game against Nashville.

The Wild are also resting Zach Parise, Nino Niederreiter, Devan Dubnyk and Thomas Vanek for this game. It's pretty clear that Minnesota isn't too concerned about where they finish in the playoff picture but they have locked up their spot in the post-season.

Apr 9 - 8:18 PM

Nate Prosser will be back in action against Detroit Saturday night.

He has missed the last three weeks with a lower-body injury and will replace Jordan Leopold in the lineup. Although the Wild are thrilled to have their unsung stay-at-home rearguard back, he has no value for those of us in hockey pools.
Apr 4 - 1:54 PM

Nate Prosser (lower body) took part in practice on Wednesday.

He feels well enough to return after spraining his MCL on Mar. 14. Prosser said "whenever I'm needed, I'll be ready." Coach Mike Yeo didn't mention a possible return date. The Wild had eight defensemen on he ice during the session, so some roster shuffling will have to occur at some point.
Apr 1 - 3:14 PM

Nate Prosser is listed as week-to-week with a lower body injury.

It isn't clear if this means that he's done for the remainder of the regular season. Prosser has seven points and 96 blocks in 60 games with the Wild this season.
Mar 16 - 1:22 PM

Nate Prosser was fine to play Thursday after recovering from a bout with food poisoning.

He wasn't able to play in the second and third periods against Ottawa on Tuesday due to the illness. Prosser doesn't have any fantasy value, but we are glad he's feeling better especially after hearing that he "violently" threw up 15 to 20 times.
Mar 6 - 11:09 AM

Nate Prosser will be scratched Tuesday night against Detroit.

With just five points, 24 PIMs and hits, and 54 blocks through 36 games this season he has little to no fantasy value.

Jan 20 - 7:24 PM

Nate Prosser will get back into Minnesota's lineup Tuesday night after he was a healthy scratch Monday.

He has five points, 54 blocks and a minus-12 rating in 36 games this season. Matt Dumba will be a healthy scratch versus Detroit.
Jan 20 - 2:49 PM

Nate Prosser will be a healthy scratch Monday against the Blue Jackets.

Prosser has been seeing regular action on the blue line recently, but with Ryan Suter back from suspense, Marco Scandella back from an injury, and Matt Dumba playing well, Prosser will be the odd man out for the Wild. He has a goal, four assists, and an ugly minus 12 rating in 36 games played this year.

Jan 19 - 7:16 PM

The Minnesota Wild will get defenseman Nate Prosser back after he missed some time with an illness that isn't believed to be the mumps.

He's not really a fantasy factor (four points and 17 PIM in 31 games this season), so just a head's up, really.
