Hutton has won five of his last six games and has only allowed six combined goals for an average of one per night. His only loss in this period came against Winnipeg on March 3. In that game he had a save percentage of .974 and allowed only goal, but fell short to Connor Hellebuyck who shut out the Blues. Wednesday night, Hutton had a save percentage of .957 and increased his winning record to 11-8-2.
Mar 30 - 1:39 AM

Carter Hutton will start Wednesday versus Arizona.

He has registered four wins in his last five appearances, but he hasn't started a game since Mar. 16 when he stopped 19 of 20 shots in a 4-1 win over San Jose. Hutton has a 2.40 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage in 27 appearances this year.
Mar 29 - 4:43 PM

Carter Hutton allowed just one goal in the Blues 4-1 win over San Jose on Thursday.

Hutton turned in another solid performance in relief of Jake Allen, stopping 19-of-20 shots. He has put together five solid starts in a row. The Blues need strong starts from both their goalies, sitting in the second and final wildcard spot in the west right now. Hutton is 11-8-1 with a 2.40 goals-against-average and .911 save percentage in 27 appearances.
Mar 17 - 3:05 AM

The Blues will start Carter Hutton against the Sharks on Thursday.

Jake Allen played in Wednesday's loss to Anaheim, so Hutton gets the nod in the second game of the back-to-back situation. In 26 games this season, Hutton has posted a 10-8-2 record with a .910 save percentage and a 2.47 GAA. He also has a trio of shutouts, two of which came in February.
Mar 16 - 8:11 PM

Carter Hutton made 21 saves on only 24 shots Saturday night, but that was enough to give the Blues a 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Hutton’s save percentage of .875 was actually disappointing in light of the three shutouts he recorded in his last five attempts. He earned a fourth in mid-January and raised fantasy players’ expectations to a high level, but interspersed between those fantastic efforts were a number of contests in which he failed to break the .900 mark.
Mar 12 - 1:23 AM

Carter Hutton gets the Islanders on Saturday night.

The Blues' backup netminder is 3-2 over his last five games with just six goals against, and five of those goals came in one game to Minnesota. Hutton also blanked Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Detroit in the three games on either side of that drumming.
Mar 11 - 12:54 PM

Carter Hutton allowed one goal on 38 shots in St. Louis' 3-0 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.

Hutton's only blemish was allowing a power play goal to Blake Wheeler in the first period. He shut the door on the Jets after that, but they managed to score two goals with him on the bench in favor of an extra attacker late in the third period. He has a 9-8-2 record with a 2.44 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage.
Mar 3 - 11:13 PM

Carter Hutton will face the Jets on Friday night.

Believe it or not, Hutton has three shutouts over his last four games. He's stopped 112 of 115 combined shots with three victories over that span, blanking Pittsburgh, Detroit and Philadelphia in that span.
Mar 3 - 6:03 PM

Carter Hutton turned aside all 25 shots he faced in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

Hutton has made two starts since Mike Yeo took over as head coach, and he's picked up shutouts in both games. The Blues backup has won three of his last four decisions after tonight's victory. He owns a 9-7-2 record with a 2.52 goals-against-average and a .907 save percentage.
Feb 15 - 11:04 PM

Carter Hutton is expected to start Wednesday night against Detroit.

He was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, so is slated to play his first game since he posted a 26-save shutout versus Philadelphia on Feb. 6. Hutton has an 8-7-2 record with a 2.65 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage this season.
Feb 15 - 1:44 PM

St. Louis Blues goalie Carter Hutton made 26 saves Monday night and shut out the Flyers 2-0 in Philadelphia.

Although Hutton is only 8-7-2 on the season, he has now recorded three shutouts. Hutton was able to take advantage of the Flyers' offensive difficulties. They have not scored in two games and in fact haven't scored in 122:49, dating back to last Thursday night. Hutton, a backup, improved his goals-against average to 2.65 and his save percentage to .902. Despite his three shutouts, Hutton is not a wise fantasy option because he is inconsistent and doesn't play a whole lot.
Feb 6 - 10:48 PM

He was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate and will start the first game of the Blues' back-to-back situation. Hutton has a 7-7-2 record with a 2.81 goals-against average and an .896 save percentage this season.
