The Ottawa Senators reportedly aren't likely to provide Patrick Wiercioch with a qualifying offer.
Wiercioch would be a restricted free agent if Ottawa qualified him, but it seems the Senators are content to let him enter the open market. He had no goals and five assists in 52 games in 2015-16. If Ottawa did want to qualify him, the franchise would need to provide Wiercioch with an offer of $2.7 million. May 19 - 9:07 AM
