Michael Hutchinson blocked 26 of 28 shots Tuesday as he backstopped the Jets to a 4-2 win over Dallas.

It has taken some time, but Hutchinson has finally wrested the starting job away from incumbent Ondrej Pavelec as he has now been assigned four of the team's last five starts. His 18-7-4 mark is accompanied by a 2.35 GAA and a .918 save percentage.
Feb 24 - 11:53 PM

Michael Hutchinson is projected to start for the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday.

That's based on the fact that he was the first goaltender off the ice after the Tuesday morning skate. He has a 2.36 GAA and .918 save percentage in 29 contests this season.
Feb 24 - 1:39 PM

Michael Hutchinson made 29 saves in Winnipeg’s 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday night.

Hutchinson gave up one in each period. The Jets led 3-2 entering the third period, but couldn’t hold on. Hutchinson has more cold than hot lately, and he now has a 2.30 goals-against average and .920 save percentage on the season.
Feb 21 - 10:33 PM

Expect Michael Hutchinson to get the start in Saturday's game against Toronto.

The 24-year-old enters tonight's action on a personal three-game winning streak. Hutchinson has a 17-7-3 record with a 2.30 goals-against-average and a .920 save percentage in 28 games this season. He's been a pleasant surprise in 2014-15. Hutchinson grew up in Barrie, Ontario which is just outside of Toronto.
Feb 21 - 11:53 AM

Goalie Michael Hutchinson made 18 saves in the Winnipeg Jets` 5-4 shootout victory over the visiting Edmonton Oilers Monday night.

Hutchinson is now 17-7-3. His goals-against average is 2.30 and his save percentage, .920. Jets coach Paul Maurice broke from his recent goaltending rotation between the rookie and veteran netminder Ondrej Pavelec. Hutchinson started his second consecutive game. Look for him to start the next game, too.
Feb 16 - 11:56 PM

Michael Hutchinson will get the start in Monday's game against Edmonton.

Hutchinson has won back-to-back starts for the Jets. He has been reliable throughout the season but his fantasy upside is limited because he and Ondrej Pavelec usually split starts. The 24-year-old has a 16-7-3 record with a 2.24 goals-against-avereage and a .923 save percentage.
Feb 16 - 5:57 PM

Michael Hutchinson gave up four goals on 29 shots, but still ended up with a 5-4 shootout win against the Red Wings on Saturday.

The rookie wasn’t at his best Saturday, giving up two goals to the Red Wings’ dangerous power play. Hutchinson has helped the Jets earn at least a point in three consecutive games. He now has a 2.24 goals-against average and .923 save percentage.
Feb 14 - 10:23 PM

Michael Hutchinson will get the nod on Saturday against Detroit.

The Jets come in holding on to the first Wild Card slot by just three points over Calgary, with Minnesota, LA, and Dallas trailing not too far behind. And unfortunately for Winnipeg, they all have multiple games in hand. Hutchinson for his part is 15-7-3 with 53 goals against in 26 games this season. He has never faced the Red Wings before.
Feb 14 - 12:22 PM

Michael Hutchinson was nearly perfect Tuesday as he stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 2-1 overtime win over Minnesota.

The list of Ondrej Pavelec supporters dwindles by the day, but the Jets coaching staff continues to assign a decent number of opportunities to the veteran, which could limit Hutchinson's upside. His 15-7-3 record is accompanied by a 2.18 GAA and a .925 save percentage.
Feb 11 - 12:09 AM

Michael Hutchinson will face the surging Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night.

Winnipeg holds the first Wild Card slot with 64 points, three ahead of Vancouver, and six over Minnesota. So needless to say, tonight's an important game. Hutch is 14-7-3 with 52 goals against in 25 games this season, and has never faced the Wild.
Feb 10 - 7:39 PM

Winnipeg goalie Michael Hutchinson made 20 saves before he and the Jets lost 2-1 in overtime to the visiting Chicago Blackhawks Friday night.

Hutchinson had enjoyed tremendous success against Chicago until Friday. He had won all three games against the Blackhawks this season and allowed only three goals in the process. But the Jets have lost six consecutive games now and Hutchinson has lost four games in a row. He has allowed 15 goals in those four losses. Might be time to look at options if you've been using Hutchinson as your fantasy goalie.
Feb 6 - 11:57 PM

Michael Hutchinson will be in goal for Winnipeg against Chicago on Friday.

He has three wins versus the Blackhawks this year and he's allowed just three goals. However, he has been struggling of late with 13 goals against in three straight losses.
Feb 6 - 5:10 PM

Winnipeg goalie Michael Hutchinson experienced his second consecutive unimpressive start Monday night as the Jets were beaten 5-2 by the Flames in Calgary.

Hutchinson allowed four goals on 23 Calgary shots. He gave up five goals on 32 shots in Winnipeg's 5-2 loss to the Stars on Saturday night. After a superb first half, Hutchinson's goals-against average has risen to 2.25 and his save percentage is now .924. His record is 14-7-2. Don't give up on the kid yet if he's your fantasy goalie. He could bounce back, but the Jets haven't looked very good lately (four consecutive losses) and Hutchinson hasn't exactly been stealing games for them.
Feb 2 - 11:53 PM

Michael Hutchinson will be in goal for the Jets on Monday.

It will mark his third straight start and Ondrej Pavelec will probably play in Vancouver on Tuesday. Winnipeg plays on Friday versus Chicago and Hutchinson will likely play that game because he's enjoyed success against the Blackhawks this year.
