Brandon Bollig's goal is still to work his way back to the NHL.
Bollig, 30, didn't end up making the Flames' opening game roster and has consequently been spending the 2016-17 campaign in the minors. "I still talk to those guys quite a bit," said Bollig of his old Flames teammates. "Definitely, when guys are saying, ‘We miss you’ or ‘We wish you were still up here’ or ‘We could use you,’ things like that, it’s nice to hear. It’s nice to know guys appreciate what I bring to the table. ... I obviously hope to be back up there with them … I’d prefer that, but it’s still nice to hear from them." Bollig has 15 points and 65 penalty minutes in 33 AHL games. Feb 10 - 8:31 AM
