Brandon Bollig and Corey Potter will both be healthy scratches Wednesday versus the Devils.

Bollig, 28, has played in 48 games with the Flames this season but Wednesday will mark the second straight game he will be scratched. He has a goal and two assists with a minus eight rating and 52 penalty minutes this season. Potter has yet to crack the Flames lineup this season and hasn’t played in an NHL game in nearly a year now. Neither player carry any fantasy value.
Feb 25 - 5:11 PM

Brandon Bollig is in the lineup Wednesday night when the Flames host the Wild.

Bollig has been held out of the Flames lineup the last two games but will get his chance to make a statement for the coaching staff Wednesday versus the Wild since Paul Byron is unable to play. Bollig has scored a goal and two assists in 46 games this year and has accrued 52 penalty minutes with a minus nine rating.
Feb 18 - 9:30 PM

Brandon Bollig is expected to be scratched on Saturday against Vancouver.

Through 46 games, Bollig has compiled 52 PIMs and 104 hits to go along with three points for Calgary this season. If you're in a pool that rewards tough guys, considering picking him up should he re-enter the lineup consistently.
Feb 14 - 12:53 PM

Brandon Bollig fought LA's Kyle Clifford shortly after the Flames took a 2-1 lead in the second period during Thursday night's 5-3 loss.

Not one minute after the Flames took the 2-1 lead early in the second, and with visually flustered Jonathan Quick on the other end, Bollig decided it was a good idea to fight. And perhaps only he knows why. Either way, he contributed a shot, a block, and two hits during his 6:29 of ice time. He continues to lead the team in PIMs with 52 through 46 games and an average ice time of 8:42. Bollig was back in the lineup after missing Monday's game with an illness.
Feb 13 - 3:00 AM

Brandon Bollig (illness) will be sidelined for Monday's tilt against the San Jose Sharks.

Bollig was unable to make the trip to San Jose and is aiming to make the flight Thursday when the Flames take on the Kings. He doesn't have much fantasy value regardless if he's in the lineup or not as he only has a goal and two assists in 45 games this season.
Feb 9 - 8:48 PM

Brandon Bollig and Raphael Diaz will be healthy scratches against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday night.

While Diaz is lacking in fantasy value, Bollig has amassed 40 PIMs and 65 hits during his 34 games played so far this season.
Jan 10 - 7:32 PM

Brandon Bollig will take a seat against the Florida Panthers on Friday night.

Bollig has some value as he's accumulated 40 PIMs and 65 hits during his 34 games played this season, but that's about it.
Jan 9 - 8:58 PM

Brandon Bollig will draw back into the Flames lineup Monday against the Kings.

After sitting out December 20th, Bollig will take Josh Jooris' spot on the wing with Matt Stajan and Lance Bouma. Bollig hasn't exactly earned a roster spot with two assists and a minus seven rating in 28 games, but coach Bob Hartley will give him another chance.

After sitting for the past two games, and four of the last six, Brandon Bollig will suit up as the fourth line right-wing Friday night against the Stars.

Bollig leads the team with 40 PIMs and ranks fifth with 46 hits, he also happens to have 10 blocks through 27 games this season. Pretty good for a guy averaging just nine minutes a night.

Brandon Bollig, Corey Potter, and Brian McGrattan will all be healthy scratches Sunday in Chicago.

Potter was recalled earlier in the day to replace Ladislav Smid who was placed on I/R, but Raphael Diaz is playing instead tonight. McGrattan has played eight ineffective games, and Bollig leads the team with 40 PIMs but just two points and little other production in 27 games.

Brandon Bollig was a healthy scratch on Saturday for the second time this season.

The Flames gave the Blackhawks a third round pick in 2014 for the rugged Bollig and he has disappointed thus far with only two assists in 20 games, although hits and tough checking is more his game. He has only 34 hits in 20 games after picking up 203 last season in 82 games. He does have 27 penalty minutes, so he has a bit of fantasy value.

Brandon Bollig is projected to be a healthy scratch against the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday.

Bollig has just two assists in 17 games this season. "We've had conversations over the season and in the past couple of weeks," Bollig said. "I think I know what needs to be done, and we'll kind of take it from there." Bollig thinks the adjustments he needs to make are relatively minor and related to his defensive play.

Brandon Bollig registered an assist in a 3-2 shootout win against Nashville.

It was Bollig's first point in four games this season. The Flames sent Chicago the 83rd pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft to get Bollig.
