Michal Jordan had the game winner for the Czech Republic on Tuesday in a 5-4 win over Switzerland during the preliminary round of the World Championship.

He gave the Czechs a 5-2 lead in the third period and they hung on for a one-goal victory. The point was his first in seven games at the tournament. Jordan appeared in 36 games with Carolina in 2015-16 and he posted one goal.
