Taylor Hall logged 19:49 minutes in his return from arthroscopic surgery.

Hall was only out for about two weeks, which is significantly less than he was expected to miss. Despite that, he certainly wasn't eased back into the lineup. He finished with no points and a minus-two rating in the Devils' 4-3 loss.
Dec 2 - 11:19 AM

Devils coach John Hynes confirmed that Taylor Hall (knee) will return on Thursday.

Hall already declared himself good to go, so this announcement doesn't come as a surprise. It is still impressive though given that he only had arthroscopic surgery about two weeks ago. "I don't think I'm rushing anything," Hall said recently. "I'm not being pressured to play any quicker than I have to. I've been able to heal quickly and I've worked hard to put myself in this spot and get back as soon as I can."

Taylor Hall (knee) is eyeing a return on Thursday or Saturday.

He got back on the ice Monday and skated again with his teammates on Tuesday. "I got in what I wanted to do today," Hall said. "Contact is one thing. It's the little plays along the boards where you're in uncomfortable spots and in awkward spots, that's where I wanted to practice today and I did that and it felt good. I've pretty much checked off every box I need to. Now, it's just feeling as good as I can to play." He was expected to miss three to four weeks after he underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus on Nov. 16, but his rapid recovery has him ahead of schedule.
Nov 29 - 5:22 PM

Taylor Hall was back at practice Monday, less than two weeks after knee surgery.

The prognostication for Hall was three-four weeks so he is ahead of schedule as he is looking to play later in the week. He will not play tonight in Winnipeg but Thursday in Chicago or Saturday in Nashville are good possibilities. He has five goals and 12 points in 14 games and will return to a lineup that is starting to score, especially Mike Cammalleri and Travis Zajac and that only can be good news for the Devils.
Nov 29 - 7:58 AM

Taylor Hall (knee) will travel with the Devils on their upcoming three-game road trip.

Hall won't play on Tuesday, but he's a possibility to return on Thursday and Saturday. That would be ahead of schedule given that he was expected to be out for three-to-four weeks after ungoing arthroscopic surgery on Nov. 16.

Hall got off to a great start and had five goals in four games before the current slump. "I haven't scored in a long, long time, so definitely want to get on the board here pretty soon," Hall said. "I think that my defensive game, my overall game is coming along really well, but at the end of the day, I'm here to provide offense, and pucks got to go in the net at some point." Nov 14 - 8:50 AM

Taylor Hall hasn't produced a goal in the last seven games and he admitted to being a bit frustrated.

"Yeah, a little bit but what are you going to do? You're not going to stop shooting or change the way you play," Hall said. "I think that's a good way to manufacture goals. Through this season, we're going to go through spells where stuff is going to go in and it seems like we can’t miss. And then there will be times like this where we have to battle for every game. Fortunately for us, we're getting great goaltending so it makes it a lot easier." He has contributed four assists and 32 shots on goal during his goal slump. Hall had one helper and six shots in Friday's 2-1 OT win over Buffalo.
