Dec 5 - 9:42 PM

Taylor Hall has been outstanding lately as he leads the New Jersey Devils in points.

Hall has 26 points in 23 games including nine in his last seven. "Right now, he’s playing fantastic," coach John Hynes said. "He’s got tons of energy. He can log big minutes and it doesn’t affect his play. He’s one of these guys right now you can put him with anybody and he’s difficult to defend." Hall is now the player the Devils thought they were getting when they gave up Adam Larsson in June 2016 for the talented forward. He is a must start.
Nov 27 - 7:38 AM

Taylor Hall had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime win over the Detroit Red Wings.

Will Butcher found Hall who cut to the middle before firing off a slick wrister passed Petr Mrazek for his eighth goal of the season. Nov 4 - 12:08 PM

Taylor Hall scored a goal in a 6-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Friday night.

Oilers fans made it clear how they felt about Hall, serenading him with 'boos' from the moment he touched the puck. Mile Wood showed off his speed down the wing before throwing a back hand on net, Hall picked up the rebound and buried his fourth goal of the year and his first goal against his former club. Nov 4 - 12:02 AM

Taylor Hall feels more comfortable with the Devils this season compared to 2016-17.

Hall was dealt to New Jersey in the summer of 2016 and his first season was less than ideal. He had 20 goals and 53 points in 72 contests while New Jersey failed to make the playoffs. This season he already has three goals and 15 points in 11 contests to aide New Jersey in its 9-2-0 start. "I think being more comfortable with my teammates and coach Hynes has helped, first and foremost," Hall said. "I haven't changed completely. But I've tried to be a better practice player and be a leader in the dressing room, instead of just one of the guys like I was when I came in last season. People forget I'm only 25. I'm still learning a lot on and off the ice. It's nice to see some positive things happening for our team at the same time." Hall will face his old team, the Edmonton Oilers, on Friday and in a reversal of last season, it's Edmonton that's struggling.
Nov 3 - 5:04 AM

Taylor Hall picked up two assists with a plus-2 rating, four shots on goal, a blocked shot and two hits Wednesday at Vancouver.

The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers is having quite the resurgence this season. He has two goals and 10 points over his past five outings, and he has managed three goals with 15 points in 11 games overall. After a disappointing 32 points in his first season in New Jersey in 2016-17, he appears poised to get back to the 50-60 point level we routinely saw in his days with the Oil.
