Taylor Hall registered an assist in his return to Edmonton.

Hall and the Devils ended up suffering a 3-2 overtime loss though. This was Hall's first game in Edmonton since he was traded over the summer. "All in all, I had a fun night," said Hall. "I got the ovation, even getting booed a little bit there by the end. I think you can say I’m a former player now if I can get booed. These last six days have been kind of stressful in not knowing what to expect in having to play your former team."

Taylor Hall will be the sole representative of the New Jersey Devils at the All-Star Game.

New Jersey acquired Hall in exchange for Adam Larsson over the summer. He's battled injuries this season, which unfortunately is an all-too familiar problem for Hall, but he's also been strong when healthy with nine goals and 25 points in 32 games. "It’s great. It’s something you want to be a part of coming into a season," Hall said of the All-Star selection. "My first season here in New Jersey, I’m happy to represent the team."
Jan 11 - 4:47 AM

Taylor Hall is still ticked off at Edmonton management for trading him away in the off-season.

Hall was sent to New Jersey for Adam Larsson as the Oilers desperately needed a top defenseman and Hall was the price. "I’d say I’m still a bit bitter," Hall said. "If a player gets traded and says he’s just OK with it, you maybe have to question his integrity a little bit. In saying that I’m happy here and feel part of a team." The Devils are in Edmonton Thursday for Hall's first game back in an opposing uniform.
Jan 8 - 8:29 AM

Taylor Hall and the New Jersey Devils will play against the Edmonton Oilers two times in six days.

The first meeting against his former team comes Saturday night from Prudential Center. "What's nice about going to Edmonton, too, is I've never played in the arena before. All my memories of Edmonton are at Rexall Place and, obviously, they're not playing there anymore," he said. "I think that helps out a bit but, definitely it's going to be a strange feeling playing the blue and orange." Hall has made an impact in his first season with the Devils. He leads the team with 25 points in 30 games.
Jan 7 - 8:55 AM

Taylor Hall scored a goal and added an assist as he and the New Jersey Devils blanked the visiting Boston Bruins 3-0 Monday night.

Hall, returning after missing two games with a lower-body injury, picked up an assist early in the first period after he shot one off the post and P.A. Parenteau picked up the rebound for his 11th goal of the season and sixth in his past 10 games. Hall notched his ninth goal of the season -- and first in 10 games -- with an empty-netter late in the third. Also scoring for New Jersey was Sergey Kalinin, his second of the season.
Jan 2 - 11:20 PM

Taylor Hall (lower body) is ready to return Monday.

Hall missed two games due to the ailment. He has eight goals and 23 points in 27 contests. He skated alongside Sergey Kalinin and P. A. Parenteau during Monday's practice, but Travis Zajac (illness) was absent and is a game-time decision, so the lines will change if he ends up playing.

Taylor Hall won't be available to play Saturday afternoon against the Capitals due to his lower body injury.

This is just perfunctory. Hall is still considered day-to-day. Hall has 23 points, including 15 assists, in 27 games this campaign.

So far Taylor Hall has been exactly what the New Jersey Devils were hoping for when they acquired him from Edmonton.

Hall has missed some time this season with a knee injury, but he's been superb when healthy with eight goals and 20 points in 21 contests. "I think when he’s on the ice, he’s a constant threat," Devils coach John Hynes said. "He’s one of the guys that you know what you’re getting every night right now. It’s a team game. You’ve got 10 other forwards that have to guide the bus. We need more guys playing with that type of intensity and desire to be an offensive player." The Devils did get off to a 9-3-3 start this season, but they've fallen to the point where they're now 12-11-6.
