Taylor Hall scored his 20th goal of the season in the Devils' 7-4 loss to Pittsburgh.

This is the fifth time in seven campaigns that Hall has reached the 20-goal milestone. Overall this season he has 53 points in 70 games, which is solid, but less than you would hope for from the 2010 first overall pick. This has been a trying campaign for both Hall and the Devils in general, which will miss the playoffs for the fifth straight season. For Hall, he's now played in 451 career games and counting without a postseason berth.
Apr 7 - 10:35 AM

Taylor Hall scored a goal in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday.

Hall got loose for a breakaway and put a beautiful move on Hellebuyck before potting home his 19th goal of the year. Despite nursing some injuries that will likely hold him out of the World Championships, Hall has picked up nine points in his last 10 games. His 51 points in 66 games this season lead all Devils players.

Team Canada shouldn't expect to have Taylor Hall for the World Championships this go-round.

Hall noted that he's likely to skip the tournament to heal up from some injuries that he's playing through instead. Hall has posted nine goals and 15 points in 18 games for Team Canada since joining the NHL.
Mar 23 - 3:59 PM

Taylor Hall scored a pair of goals in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Finally, the Devils were able to snap their 10-game losing streak. Hall's goals gave the Devils 4-2 and 6-2 leads in the third period. The Devils forward is currently riding a three-game point streak and he's scored three goals in his last three outings. He has 17 goals and 29 assists in 59 games this season. Adam Henrique (twice), Kyle Palmieri and Joseph Blandisi also scored for the Devils.
Mar 16 - 10:01 PM

Taylor Hall scored in New Jersey's 3-2 loss to Colorado on Thursday.

Hall's goal was his 15th of the campaign but just his second in the last 13 games. He did it in 20:32 of ice-time and also recorded 4 shots on net. His output on the season has been fairly good, posting 43 points in 57 games. Stefan Noesen scored the other goal for the Devils.
Mar 10 - 12:17 AM

Taylor Hall has only found the back of the net once in his last 12 games.

Hall also has six assists over that span. With 14 goals and 42 points in 55 contests this season, Hall has been good, but hasn't produced at the level the Devils were likely hoping for when they acquired him over the summer in exchange for Adam Larsson. That deal also has to be rough for Hall given that Edmonton is finally on the verge of making the playoffs, but he'll likely be missing the postseason yet again with New Jersey. Hall has played in 436 career games without a postseason berth.
Mar 7 - 5:32 AM

Taylor Hall and the rest of the Devils were shut out by the Blue Jackets 3-0 on Sunday.

Mar 5 - 9:49 PM

Feb 19 - 11:07 PM

Taylor Hall couldn't find the back of the net on Tuesday, but he did launch a game-high six shots.

Hall has just two goals in his last 11 games, but he's optimistic that he'll start producing more in the near future. "I’m hoping," Hall said. "If I’m saving it for a time of the year, it’s now. I’d like to score as many goals as I can. It seems like they’re not going in but I don’t think my shots are perimeter shots, either. They’re from the goal-scoring area so, eventually, they’re going to go in." He has 13 goals and 37 points in 46 contests this season.
Feb 15 - 5:23 AM

Taylor Hall picked up a point for the fourth time in his fifth game during Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Sharks.

Feb 12 - 3:49 PM

Taylor Hall had eight shots on goal Saturday.

Two found the back of the net as Hall now has 13 goals. He also chipped in an assist to give him 22 this season. The former Oiler has been the Devils leading scorer thus far and gives New Jersey the start of some scoring punch that has been lacking since Zach Parise became a free agent and took his talents to Minnesota.
Feb 5 - 8:32 AM

Taylor Hall scored twice as the Devils beat the Blue Jackets 5-1 Saturday night.

Entering this game, Hall had not scored a goal since January 15, but he was coming off back-to-back contests in which he recorded assists. In fact, Hall has been very productive in his last 11 games with four goals and six assists during that span.
