Taylor Hall was one of the Edmonton Oilers' goal scorers in a 4-3 victory over the visiting Colorado Avalanche Wednesday night.
It was Hall's first goal since he returned from a leg injury last Sunday. Hall, who had 16:24 of ice time, popped in his 12th goal of the season at 9:24 of the first period, giving the Oilers a quick 3-0 lead. Martin Marincin and Jordan Eberle scored Edmonton's first two goals, their first and 21st of the season, respectively. After the Avalanche tied the game 3-3, Derek Roy scored the Oilers' winning goal at 10:42 of the third period. It was Roy's 11th goal of the season. Three Edmonton players had two assists each -- Anton Lander, Andrew Martin and Benoit Pouliot. Mar 25 - 11:06 PM

Taylor Hall had an assist in Edmonton's 4-1 loss to Winnipeg on Monday.

It was Hall's second game since recovering from a leg injury. He logged 18:52 minutes on Monday compared to just 16:14 in his return to the lineup.

Taylor Hall had an assist in his return from a leg injury on Saturday.

It was Hall's first game since Feb. 2. He was eased into the lineup somewhat by limiting him to 16:14 minutes of ice time. Look for him to get back to playing around 20 minutes per game in the near future.
Mar 22 - 9:34 AM

Taylor Hall will return to the Oilers' lineup Saturday night but will be on the third line instead of Edmonton's first line.

Against the Flyers in Edmonton, Hall will play alongside Anton Lander and Andrew Miller, who was recalled from Oklahoma City of the AHL last Wednesday. Before injuring his leg and missing 23 of the Oilers' 24 games, Hall was a mainstay on the the team's first line with Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. "I think the thought process is that (Nail Yakupov) is playing so well with Derek (Roy) and Teddy (Purcell) on (the second line) and (Eberle and Nugent-Hopkins) are playing so well with Benoit (Pouliot)," Hall said. "So I'm not too big of a personality that I can fit in elsewhere." Despite missing 29 games this season, Hall is third on the Oilers' scoring list with 11 goals and 19 assists for 30 points.
Mar 21 - 5:57 PM

Good news: Taylor Hall said he's ready to play for the Edmonton Oilers against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.

It should be interesting to see if he skated with Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins or if Benoit Pouliot would remain with the top line. Hall produces when he can actually get on the ice, so stay tuned for updates.

Taylor Hall (leg) took part in Friday's practice.

Hall might be back on Saturday, but nothing has been decided yet. He has 11 goals and 30 points in 42 contests in 2014-15. His return might result in Benoit Pouliot losing his top line spot.
Mar 20 - 3:16 PM

Taylor Hall (leg) skated with teammates for the first time since early February on Monday.

"It's one of those things where I kind of have to wait to see how it reacts to being on the ice and everything, but today was a really good positive session," Hall said. "I'm certainly looking forward to playing soon." He obviously won't play Monday night and he has been out of the lineup since Feb. 2.
Mar 16 - 5:19 PM

Taylor Hall (leg) is projected to practice with the Oilers on Tuesday.

Hall hasn't participated in an Oilers' game since Feb. 2. He was originally projected to return towards the end of March, so barring a setback, he should still participate in at least a handful of games before the season ends.
Mar 16 - 9:35 AM

Taylor Hall (leg) is expected to miss the next six weeks.

At this point, any setback could end Hall's season, especially seeing as Edmonton has nothing left to play for in 2014-15. He has 11 goals and 30 points in 42 contests in 2014-15. That's certainly a big step down from his 80-point campaign in 2013-14, but we wouldn't get too discouraged. He's a great bounce back candidate for 2014-15. In the meantime, this is an opportunity for Teddy Purcell to play on the top line.
Feb 10 - 12:40 PM

Taylor Hall (ankle) has been placed on the injured reserve list.

Hall was sent back to Edmonton for further testing and this move can be retroactive Feb. 2, so the Oilers made the logical decision here. We haven't heard what the results of those tests are yet.
Feb 10 - 12:16 PM

Taylor Hall has returned to Edmonton to undergo further testing on his injured ankle.

Hall suffered the injury in Monday's game against the San Jose Sharks. The Oilers began a six-game road trip on Saturday night in Toronto. It's unclear if Hall will be able to rejoin his teammates at some point on the trip. The 23-year-old has a disappointing 11 goals and 30 points in 42 games this season.
Feb 8 - 12:40 PM

The Edmonton Oilers will be without Taylor Hall (leg) once again as they face the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.

It's unclear how much more time the young forward will miss, as injuries seem to be an annual headache for Hall. He has 30 points in 42 games on a somewhat slow season for the 23-year-old.
Feb 7 - 1:44 PM

Taylor Hall will be sidelined for Wednesday’s tilt against the Penguins due to a leg injury.

After missing three straight games, Hall attempted to come back for Monday’s game versus the Sharks but re-aggravated his leg injury and is now out for Wednesday’s game. Hall hasn’t lived up to the expectations many thought he would attain this year, but still has tremendous upside once he gets back on the ice. He has 11 goals and 19 assists in 42 games played in the 2014-2015 season. Iiro Pakarinen was called up to replace Hall and will play on the Oilers top line Wednesday night with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle.
Feb 4 - 5:32 PM

After Monday's contest, Oilers coach Todd Nelson clarified that Taylor Hall re-aggravated his leg injury.

Hall attempted to return from the ailment after missing three straight games. Nelson described the decision to shut Hall down for the night as precautionary, so we'll take that to mean that Hall should be regarded as day-to-day for now.
Feb 3 - 1:52 AM

Taylor Hall suffered a foot injury during Monday's game against San Jose.

Hall will miss the remainder of the contest as a result. Hall just returned from a leg injury too, which has to make this all the more frustrating for him. He has 11 goals and 29 points in 41 contests.
