Nov 19 - 10:50 AM

Taylor Hall had a goal and an assist in the Oilers 4-3 loss in Los Angeles Saturday.

The Oilers are floundering once again this season but you cannot blame Hall who has eight goals and 20 points which is good for fourth overall in NHL scoring. He is a plus-seven on a poor Oilers team and looks like he is ready to break through once again as an elite NHL player both on the ice and in fantasy.
Nov 15 - 5:35 AM

Taylor Hall slid home his seventh goal of the season for Edmonton's only tally in Thursday's 4-1 loss to Arizona.

After a nifty give-and-go with Leon Draisaitl deep in Arizona's zone, Hall burst to the middle off the left half-wall and slid home the night's opening tally just 3:03 into the game. Unfortunately, none of his other game-high seven shots found the twine. He now has 18 points on the year.
Nov 13 - 12:30 AM

Taylor Hall scored and added two assists in a 4-2 win over Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Hall is on absolute fire right now. He has back-to-back three point games and has had multiple points in four straight games while on a six game points streak. The 23 year-old has six goals and 10 assists for 16 points in 13 games this season. The loss of Conner McDavid means he will be counted to score on even more going forward. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored twice in this game while Matt Hendricks picked up the other goal.
Nov 4 - 12:38 AM

Taylor Hall has been named the third star of the week for the period ending Nov. 1.

Hall earned three multi-point games, where he posted two goals and five assists, to take the honor. He is riding a five-game scoring spree going into this week's action.
Nov 2 - 2:52 PM

Taylor Hall extended his point streak to five games with a goal and a pair of helpers in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Calgary.

Perhaps what's most impressive is that Hall's point total is increasing during the streak. He's now up to nine points during the run, bringing his season total to five goals and 13 points in 12 games.
Nov 1 - 1:03 AM

Taylor Hall extended his point streak to four games with a pair of helpers in Thursday's 4-3 win over Montreal.

A power play helper to kick off the comeback, and another to seal the deal. Not too shabby for perhaps Edmonton's most important player. Hall now has six helpers and 10 points on the season.
Oct 30 - 12:33 AM

Taylor Hall scored a goal and an assist in Edmonton's 4-3 loss to Minnesota.

Hall's goal at the 11:09 mark of the first period cut Minnesota's lead to 2-1 and his primary assist on Iiro Pakarinen's second period goal tied the game, 2-2. The 23-year-old has eight points in his last seven games. If he can stay healthy, Hall should continue producing like a first line winger.
Oct 27 - 11:43 PM

Taylor Hall finally scored his first goal of the season on Thursday night, however the Oilers still fell to the Blues 4-2.

It only took four games and 20 shots, but hey, even Wayne Gretzky had a rough start or two.. Right? In any case, don't fret over Hall. Highly talent goal scorers on good offensive teams often have a way of overcoming their bad luck. You can even take a cue from Coach McLellan who played Hall 23:35 including 5:04 on the power play with four PIMs and six shots on net.
Oct 15 - 11:48 PM

Taylor Hall will take his usual first line left wing position on Tuesday night against Dallas, despite being sick.

Whatever the reason, the Oilers' best player will skate along side Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Teddy Purcell on the team's top line. Hall may be pointless through the first two games of the season, he also has a dozen shots on net. The goals will come.
Oct 13 - 8:16 PM

Taylor Hall is questionable for Tuesday's contest due to an illness.

That's potentially a big blow to the Edmonton Oilers as they try to get things going offensively. If Hall can't play, then Benoit Pouliot will likely play alongside Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Teddy Purcell.
Oct 13 - 1:12 PM

Taylor Hall will have nightmares about Pekka Rinne after the Oilers’ 2-0 loss to the Predators on Saturday night.

Hall fired nine shots on goal, but none of them got past Rinne. He also had two hits in 24:18. After an injury-shortened 2014-15, performances like this — even without a goal — are great signs. The goals will come. Connor McDavid had two shots in 18:39.
Oct 10 - 9:58 PM

Taylor Hall has been taken off the line with Connor McDavid.

Both players like to handle the puck so while they will play together on the power play, the duo were split up on Friday in practice as Hall was on the left side of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Teddy Purcell. Look for Hall to have a big season this year if he can remain healthy, which has been a problem in the past.
Oct 10 - 8:01 AM

Taylor Hall kicked the party off just 89 seconds in, but the Oilers would go on to fall to the Canucks 5-2 on Thursday night.

Hall is still, somehow, only turning 24-years-old in November and just one season removed from his career best of 27 goals and 80 points. So it'll be interesting to see how much more time he sees with Connor McDavid, who centered his line tonight. Either way, Hall future continues to look bright.
