Brett Connolly has gone 23 games without beating a goaltender for a goal.

His only tally during that span came on Jan. 15 against Buffalo when he scored into an empty net. Connolly was a healthy scratch Saturday, but when he returns to the lineup it wouldn't be a surprise if he was back on the top line despite his cold streak.
Jan 25 - 9:32 AM

Brett Connolly will be scratched against Columbus on Saturday night.

Connolly has had a nice season for Boston thus far. Through 44 games he's posted six goals and 15 points with 93 hits. Not too shabby if your pool is deep enough.
Jan 23 - 6:45 PM

Brett Connolly has finally scored.

With an empty-netter against the Sabres Friday night, Connolly snaps an ugly 19-game scoring drought. Goals into a vacant cage are kind of cheap, but we're sure Connolly will take it nonetheless. He still has no fantasy value, though.
Jan 16 - 9:16 AM

Brett Connolly has not scored a goal in his last 18 appearances.

He was a healthy scratch on Saturday at Ottawa for the second time this year and returned to the lineup on Monday. Connolly hit the post in the contest so his goal drought was extended.

Brett Connolly appears to be in the lineup Monday night.

Connolly and Zac Rinaldo looked like scratches during the morning skate, but they are taking part in line rushes during the pregame warmup.
Jan 11 - 6:48 PM

Brett Connolly and Joe Morrow will be scratched from Saturday's match with Ottawa.

Through 38 games this season, Connolly has posted 14 points and 79 hits. Not bad as a 23-year-old, but not quite the production level the Bruins were, and are, hoping for.
Jan 9 - 6:51 PM

Brett Connolly was demoted to the fourth line Sunday.

He logged 9:25 of ice time in the contest. Landon Ferraro was moved up to Patrice Bergeron's line in Connolly's place. Connolly doesn't have a point in eight straight games.

Despite the fact he is not scoring goals, Brett Connolly is playing well enough to hold down a job on the Bruins' second line.

He continues to play alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand even though he has scored only one goal since Halloween. Boston coach Claude Julien does not seem in a rush to replace him as he believes he is getting his chances and as the ability to score goals. If you are relying on Connolly, stay patient a little longer before letting him go.

Brett Connolly didn't score, but he played well against Florida on Saturday.

He was rewarded with 17:32 of ice time. Connolly has no goals and one assist in his last six games. That drought should come to an end soon if he continues to see regular shifts alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand.

Brett Connolly has returned to Boston's second line alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand.

Coach Claude Julien probably wants to see if he can get Connolly going again because the winger has one goal, three assists and six shots in his past 10 games. Connolly has some success with Bergeron and Marchand earlier in the season.

Brett Connolly wanted to have a good game against his former team on Saturday.

Connolly scored a goal in the game and extended his point streak to six games in the process. "I wanted to have a good game," said Connolly. "I wanted to play hard. And most importantly, I wanted to get a win. I thought we played a pretty good road game. This team is playing pretty well now. It’s a fun time to be playing.

With his goal on Saturday night, Brett Connolly's point streak has reached six games.

It was certainly one that Ben Bishop should've stopped, but he didn't, giving Connolly the eventual winner on the power play. The 23-year-old winger now has four goals and six points, each during this streak.

He has been clicking with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand after struggling earlier in the season on the third line with Ryan Spooner and Jimmy Hayes. Connolly has three points in six games this year.
Mon, Oct 26, 2015 10:06:00 AM

Brett Connolly and Tyler Randell will be healthy scratches on Saturday night against the Coyotes.

From centering the third line to the stands, not quite what Connolly was bargaining for. He does have a point in four games, but he's averaged just 14:18 of ice time with six shots, four blocks, and 10 hits. Not exactly impressive.
