Connolly scored a goal in the game and extended his point streak to six games in the process. "I wanted to have a good game," said Connolly. "I wanted to play hard. And most importantly, I wanted to get a win. I thought we played a pretty good road game. This team is playing pretty well now. It’s a fun time to be playing. Nov 1 - 9:25 AM

With his goal on Saturday night, Brett Connolly's point streak has reached six games.

It was certainly one that Ben Bishop should've stopped, but he didn't, giving Connolly the eventual winner on the power play. The 23-year-old winger now has four goals and six points, each during this streak.

Brett Connolly has scored in two straight games since being a healthy scratch on Oct. 17.

He has been clicking with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand after struggling earlier in the season on the third line with Ryan Spooner and Jimmy Hayes. Connolly has three points in six games this year.

Brett Connolly and Tyler Randell will be healthy scratches on Saturday night against the Coyotes.

From centering the third line to the stands, not quite what Connolly was bargaining for. He does have a point in four games, but he's averaged just 14:18 of ice time with six shots, four blocks, and 10 hits. Not exactly impressive.

The iminent return of Brad Marchand to the Boston lineup will dramatically effect Brett Connolly's fantasy value.

Connolly subbed in for Marchand on the Bruins' second line the past two games. However, Marchand will regain his spot alongside Patrice Bergeron and Loui Eriksson as soon as he returns to game action. Connolly, who was playing on Boston's third line before Marchand was injured, has apparently lost his spot on that unit due to the hot play of Chris Kelly, who has meshed very well with Ryan Spooner and Jimmy Hayes. What does all this mean for Connolly? He will now play on the Bruins' fourth unit. Not a boon to his fantasy vlaue.
Oct 17 - 9:28 AM

Brett Connolly will probably play Monday alongside Patrice Bergeron and Loui Eriksson.

Brad Marchand has a concussion so Connolly is getting a chance to move up from the third line. He skated with Bergeron Eriksson during Sunday's session. Connolly has a minus-4 rating and two shots after Boston's first two contests.

Brett Connolly is excited to get a fresh start in Boston.

The Bruins acquired Connolly in a trade with Tampa Bay. The 22-year-old broke his finger just two days into his stint with his new team and missed all but the last five games of the regular season. "It’s always nice to get on the scoreboard. I wanted to get one before we get into the regular season, and I was fortunate to get a couple. It’s good to build that confidence before the season starts," Connolly said of the two goals he scored against the Rangers last Thursday. "It was good to come in here, and have a good training camp after a good summer of training off the ice. I’ve put the year I had last year behind me, and I’m getting a fresh start. So I’m excited for that."
Oct 4 - 8:24 AM

Brett Connolly netted a pair of goals in Wednesday's preseason game against the Rangers.

He has been playing with Jimmy Hayes and Ryan Spooner on the third line for most of training camp. Connolly is eager to contribute this year and he feels his linemates are motivated to prove themselves as well. "As a line right now, we're hungry to be good and to have a good start to the season," he said. Coach Claude Julien wants to see the line improve defensively, but he does like their potential in the attacking zone.
Oct 1 - 9:40 AM

Brett Connolly is highly motivated for the 2015-16 season.

"That's the good thing about change," said Connolly, who was traded from Tampa Bay to Boston last season. "I'm very excited to be here. Can't wait to get going. Obviously there's a lot to prove to not only myself, but there's a lot of people out there — maybe including Tampa — that I want to prove wrong." He picked up two assists in five games with the Bruins, but a displaced fracture in his right index finger didn't get him off to a good start with his new club. Connolly also got a one-year deal during the summer, so he has plenty of motivation going into the year. He will try to earn a top-six forward spot at training camp, which would certainly help him achieve his goals.
Sep 9 - 1:33 PM

The Boston Bruins have signed Brett Connolly to a one-year, $1,025,000 contract.

Connolly had 12 goals and 17 points in 55 games with the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning in 2014-15. He has more offensive upside than those numbers suggest though and will be worth keeping an eye on during training camp to see if he can secure a top-six role.
Jul 6 - 3:40 PM

Brett Connolly will need a new contract from the Bruins this summer.

He's going to be a restricted free agent in July. Connolly appeared in five games with Boston after he was acquired from Tampa Bay and he earned two assists. He's projected to be compete for a top-six forward spot next season once the Bruins get him signed.
May 26 - 12:22 PM

Brett Connolly was whistled for three minor penalties on Thursday.

In four games with the Bruins, he has amassed 10 penalty minutes and two assists. Connolly has 12 goals and 17 points in 54 games this year between the Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Apr 10 - 8:58 AM

Brett Connolly has already played alongside a variety of linemates, as coach Claude Julien continues his experimentation with his lineup.

In just two games, he has skated with Gregory Campbell and Chris Kelly then Kelly and Max Talbot, followed by a line with Milan Lucic and Ryan Spooner and finally with Carl Soderberg and Loui Eriksson. The Boston Herald's Steve Conroy thinks Connolly should be tried out with David Krejci and Reilly Smith.
Apr 6 - 10:26 AM

Brett Connolly's long-anticipated Bruins' debut couldn't have gone much better.

Connolly, who was acquired in a trade from Tampa on March 2nd, broke his finger in his second practice with the Bruins and had been sidelined ever since. Friday night he skated as Bruin for the first time and registered two assists in a 3-2 win over Detroit. Although that was a nice start to his Boston career, bear in mind he skated on the Bruins' fourth line alongside Chris Kelly and Gregory Campbell and had only 12:44 of ice time. Despite his pedigree, he is not a real fantasy asset at this time.
Apr 3 - 9:15 AM
