Tyler Toffoli has more shots in the playoffs than any other player without a goal.
Toffoli has launched 14 shots on goal over three games, but his efforts haven't been rewarded. It has to be particularly frustrating for him given that the Kings have lost each of the first three games by just a single goal. "Ty had three great chances last night," Kings coach John Stevens said in reference to Game 3. "The one, I told him 99 times out of 100 he makes that shot, so he owes me 99 more." Keep an eye on Toffoli on Tuesday, because he might finally break through. Apr 17 - 5:02 AM

Tyler Toffoli found the back of the net in the Kings' 4-1 win over Detroit Thursday night.

Toffoli extended his point streak to three games. He's up to 23 goals and 42 points in 71 contests this season. That puts him in a tie for the second most goals he's scored in a single campaign, but he's unlikely to reach his career-high of 31 markers set in 2015-16.

Tyler Toffoli scored the game-winning goal while adding a plus-2 rating with five shots on goal in Monday's 3-0 win against Vancouver.

It was Toffoli's first multi-point game since Feb. 13 in Carolina, and his first time with two or more points in front of the home folks since Dec. 9, also against the Hurricanes. Apparently he likes facing Carolina. He also enjoys facing Vancouver, too, picking up two goals, five points and a plus-3 rating over his past three against the Canucks.
Mar 13 - 1:58 AM

Tyler Toffoli picked up his 21st goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-1 road victory against the Golden Knights.

Toffoli is working on a three-game point streak, posting two goals with an assist and plus-1 rating. The three-game run actually ties a season high for Toffoli. He is on pace for 47 points, which would be his third-best total, and much better than his 34 points from a season ago. And he remains on target to post a career-high in power-play points. Still, he has been a mediocre fantasy option at best for most of the season.
Feb 28 - 2:19 AM

Tyler Toffoli registered an assist in the Kings' 3-2 overtime win against Vegas.

Toffoli has recorded a point in three of his last four games. He's up to 20 goals and 36 points in 63 contests in 2017-18.
Feb 27 - 5:24 AM

Tyler Toffoli scored his 20th of the season in a 4-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night.

Toffoli's goal was his first in six games. The forward hadn't reached the 20-goal plateau since the 2015-16 season, where he scored a career-high 31 goals for the Kings. Los Angeles also got goals from newcomer Tobias Rieder and Dustin Brown in the loss. Toffoli has 20 goals and 35 points in 62 games this season.
Feb 25 - 2:49 AM

Tyler Toffoli hasn't scored a goal in 13 games.

Toffoli has picked up just one assist during that span, but he's confident that he can turn it around. "I like where my game's at. I feel like I'm doing some really good things so I'm not really too worried about anything," he said. "Just trying to obviously score goals but at the same time play good hockey and play the right way."
Feb 13 - 3:28 PM

Tyler Toffoli found the back of the net and registered two assists in Los Angeles' 4-3 win against Vancouver.

That's the most points Toffoli has recorded in a single contest this season. His last three-point showing was on Dec. 15, 2016. Marian Gaborik scored a goal and registered an assist for the Kings. Kyle Clifford and Drew Doughty accounted for the other two goals. Trevor Lewis assisted on two of Los Angeles' four markers.

Tyler Toffoli scored a goal in a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Nick Shore found Toffoli in between both defensemen before burying his 16th goal of the season and the 100th of his career. Toffoli now has six goals and nine points over his last 10 games. His current pace would eclipse his career high of 31 goals set during the 2015-16 season. Adrian Kempe, Alec Martinez and Trevor Lewis also found the back of the net in the win.

Tyler Toffoli scored a power play goal Saturday.

It was a rare one as the Kings have now scored only four goals on the road with the man-advantage. They are not even the worst in the league as they have had 46 chances while Columbus is 3-38 away from home with the man-advantage. Toffoli has 15 goals and 24 points this season in 34 games with a plus-11 rating. He should be started in most leagues.

Tyler Toffoli scored once and added an assist Saturday.

Toffoli is off to a great start with 14 goals and 22 points in 31 games this season with a plus-12 rating. He had only 16 goals last season in 63 games and looks like he is about to shatter that mark. Toffoli has 98 career NHL goals as well as 99 assists so he is in line to hit some milestones in the near future.

Tyler Toffoli is enjoying a resurgent season.

Toffoli has 13 goals and 19 points in 29 games after being limited to 34 points in 63 contests last season, due in part to a knee injury. Meanwhile, the Kings as a whole have been better in 2017-18 as they have a 18-8-3 record after missing the playoffs last season. "I feel pretty good," Toffoli said. "Obviously, when you’re playing with more confidence and you don’t have something in the back of your mind, I think your play becomes better. It’s been good so far. We’re winning games and we’re just going to keep going."

Toffoli's first goal gave the Kings a 1-0 lead early in the first period, while his second tally made it 4-1 in the third frame. The Kings forward now has three goals in his last two contests. Toffoli has 13 goals and six assists in 27 games this season. Anze Kopitar and Adrian Kempe also scored for the Kings in this one.

Tyler Toffoli scored a goal and registered an assist in a 4-0 win over Florida on Saturday.

Toffoli's marker was the first of the game, so it also counts as the game-winner. Andy Andreoff, Jonny Brodzinski, and Trevor Lewis each found the back of the net for the Kings. Dustin Brown, Nic Dowd, Jussi Jokinen, Tanner Pearson, Drew Doughty, and Adrian Kempe each recorded an assist on Saturday.

Tyler Toffoli has swaped spots with Trevor Lews in the Kings' lineup.

That's not good news for Toffoli owners as he will now be skating on the team's third line alongside Nick Shore and Andy Andreoff instead of the Kings' second unit alongside Tanner Pearson and Adrian Kempe. We're not sure how long this shuffle will last but for now keep Toffoli's role in mind when determining if he is rosterable.
