Charlie Coyle didn't think playing with two separated shoulders was a big deal.
"You forget about it once you're out there, but everyone's in the same situation," Coyle said Friday. "Everyone has one ache or another. ... You're always banged up. You just fight through it. ... Everyone was doing that. Every guy was doing that." He separated one shoulder in Game 4 against Colorado and the other in Game 3 against Chicago. Coyle had seven points in 13 playoff contests for the Wild and he'll rehab over the summer. May 17 - 6:50 PM

Both of Charlie Coyle's were reportedly separated for at least part of the playoffs.

Coyle still managed to score three goals and seven points in 13 postseason games. The 22-year-old forward is likely to set a new career-high in points in 2014-15 after getting 30 this season.
May 14 - 3:50 PM

Charlie Coyle posted the game-winning goal for Minnesota in Game 4.

His power-play tally at the 12:55 mark of the second gave the Wild a 2-0 lead and it held up as the winner. The victory evened the series at 2-2. Coyle has recorded three goals in four postseason contests versus Colorado.
Apr 25 - 9:22 AM

Charlie Coyle netted a goal for Minnesota, which fell 4-2 in Game 2 of the first-round series with the Avalanche.

Coyle beat Semyon Varlmov with a tip-in early in the first period via assists from Mikko Koivu and Ryan Suter. Coyle is likely not going to be a playoff-pool asset unless the Wild advance further in the postseason. He had just 12 goals and 30 points in 70 games this year. Marco Scandella notched the other goal; the defenseman had just 17 points during the regular season, so he's probably not going to be a help for fantasy leaguers right now. Koivu and Zach Parise picked up assists on the late third-period marker.
Apr 20 - 12:43 AM

Charlie Coyle was the only goal scorer in Minnesota's 1-0 victory over the Jets on Monday night.

Coyle's 12th tally of the season was the only goal either team could muster in a hard-fought defensive battle. Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu picked up helpers on the marker.
Apr 7 - 10:47 PM

Charlie Coyle scored his fourth goal in his last seven games on Thursday night.

He has been held off the scoresheet just one time over that span. Coyle has been very well on a line with Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu. Coyle has 11 goals and 27 points in 65 outings.
Apr 4 - 9:52 AM

Charlie Coyle scored a goal for a third straight game in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to Vancouver.

He has 10 goals and 24 points in 61 games this season. Coyle has been plagued by lengthy scoring droughts in 2013-14, but his three-game point streak suggests that he could end the year on a much more positive note.
Mar 27 - 11:29 AM

Charlie Coyle produced a goal and a helper in Sunday's comeback win over Detroit.

The trio of Coyle, Mikko Koivu and Matt Moulson clicked in Sunday's victory. Coyle has three points in his last two games to give him a total of 23 on the year.
Mar 24 - 11:50 AM

Charlie Coyle scored a goal in Minnesota's 4-3 loss on Saturday.

Coyle found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 11. He has just 20 points in 51 games this season, but he's worth keeping an eye on after he played alongside Mikko Koivu and Matt Moulson during Saturday's game.
Mar 9 - 9:47 AM

Although Mikko Koivu's (ankle) return might shift Charlie Coyle to the right wing, it would be a temporary arrangement.

Wild coach Mike Yeo likes the idea of using Coyle as a center in the long-term. Coyle has 19 points and 27 penalty minutes in 49 games this season.
Mar 2 - 10:07 AM

Charlie Coyle earned two assists in Sunday's 4-0 triumph against Nashville.

He has been clicking between Dany Heatley and Jason Zucker and has recorded four points in his last two games. Heatley and Zucker scored for the trio in Sunday's win, while Coyle had two goals in Saturday's loss to Colorado. Coyle could be worthy of a flier if he continues to produce this week.
Jan 13 - 12:25 PM

Charlie Coyle potted two goals, but the Wild fell 4-2 to the Avalanche on Saturday night.

A good night for the 21-year-old, but with six goals and 14 points on the season, he is far from being relevant in fantasy leagues. Dany Heatley had two helpers, while Nate Prosser had one. Jason Pominville finished a game-low minus-three.
Jan 11 - 11:18 PM

Charlie Coyle is projected to skate on the top line with Dany Heatley and Jason Pominville.

Coyle has moved up and down the lineup this year. He will attempt to fill in for injured center Mikko Koivu, who is expected to miss at least a month following ankle surgery. Coyle has 12 points in 32 games this campaign.
Jan 7 - 11:12 AM

Charlie Coyle skated on the third line between Matt Cooke and Justin Fontaine during Wednesday's practice.

The move is a bit odd considering Coyle has topped 20 minutes of ice time in his last three games and he's earned two assists, while playing right wing on the top line. Coyle hasn't looked as comfortable at center as he has on the wing this year. He has 11 points and a minus-10 rating in 30 games.
Jan 2 - 11:45 AM

Charlie Coyle will move from center on the Minnesota second line to right wing on the team's first line alongside Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu.

Coyle has had most of his success on the wing of the top unit and has struggled as a center. The Wild called up Erik Haula to center the second line featuring Jason Pomminville and Nino Niederreiter. The lines will likely stay this way until Mikael Granlund recovers from a concussion. Adjust your lineups accordingly.
