Calvin Pickard's recently signed two-year deal with the Colorado Avalanche is worth $2 million.
Pickard will earn $925,000 in 2016-17 and $1,075,000 the following season. That's a pretty good contract for Colorado given how much growth Pickard could see over the next two seasons. Of course no young goaltender is a sure thing, but there's a fair chance that Pickard will have earned a far more lucrative contract by the time this bridge deal is done. Jul 5 - 10:32 PM
