Nick Bjugstad was shifted back to center prior to the Panthers' 2-0 loss to Ottawa Saturday night.
Bjugstad had a five-game trial on the wing alongside Denis Malgin that didn't work out too well. Panthers' interim coach Tom Rowe shifted Bjugstad back to the pivot position. It doesn't really make much of a difference to Bjugstad's fantasy value as in either case he is still playing on the Cats' third line. Dec 4 - 10:38 AM

Nick Bjugstad saw some work on the power play Wednesday at practice.

He was on the top unit last year, so it was only a matter of time before he got a chance this season. "I didn't expect much, just trying to get back into it, trying to get my legs and the pack back," said Bjugstad, who has no points after four contests. "I think they're going to rotate me in a little bit and now I have to prove myself. It has been a while and coming back from a wrist injury, you're not shooting 100 percent."
