Anton Lander is expected to be a healthy scratch in Game 2 against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night.

Lander was limited to 22 games during the regular season and he still hasn't suited up for the Oilers in the postseason. Mark Fayne, Griffin Reinhart, Iiro Pakarinen, Nick Ellis, Jordan Oesterle, Eric Gryba and Matt Hendricks will also watch from the press box. None of these players carry any fantasy value.

He had two goals on Sunday to give him 21 and added an assist. Lander has not been able to transform his AHL success over to the NHL as far as compiling points but is a nice bottom-six forward when given the chance.

The Oilers recalled Anton Lander from AHL Bakersfield on Thursday.

In just 16 games down on the farm, the 25-year-old has posted 14 goals and 27 points. Which is by far his best point-per-game rate so far as a professional. With just 35 points in 213 career NHL matches however, it's far from certain he's yet to put it all together at the game's highest level.

After being recalled earlier today, Anton Lander is expected to be a healthy scratch tonight when the Oilers face the Blue Jackets.

Lander tore up the AHL with 21 points in 13 games but has only three points in 16 NHL games this season. Eric Gryba and Jordan Oesterle will be joining him as the scratches tonight.
